TTC and caffeine

I drink a LOT of tea and coffee and I'm quite fond of chocolate. Should I cut down now before we start TTC or wait until pregnant?

I would try to cut down and switch some drinks to decaff. Better for you anyway! I found when I was pregnant caffeinated drinks made me sick and I had to go cold turkey (withdrawal headaches!) so cutting down beforehand would have been helpful.

There's no link between caffeine intake and fertility problems, but there is a link between high caffeine levels and miscarriage. It might be better to try to cut down a bit now than go cold turkey when you get your BFP? I think the NHS guidance during pregnancy is 200mg per day or something?

Thanks just worrying now about how many of my favourite foods I'll have to give up for 9 months! Please tell me it's worth it!

After 2 1/2 years TTC I now have a daughter. It's worth it! :)
