Hiya I'm POAS on wednesday (June 5th) anyone else testing this week?

AF is 12 days late but regularly irregular hence leaving it this long to test.

This is month 5 cycle 3 of TTC however DP is in the Military and works away so May was the first time this year we've actually managed to dtd when In my fertile window. (although because of irregular AF finding fertile window isn't always easy).

Good Luck to anyone else testing this week hope you all get a BFP Smile

I need a bit of a handhold please!

I had a MMC 9 months ago and have been just shagging ever since, getting slightly annoyed with my short cycles (seemed to have settled down to 24 days). I thought there was no chance this cycle as I've been working away for most of it and have no idea, not a single clue, when or whether I o'd. And now... I'm late. CD26 and no sign. If I get to Wednesday I will test.

BartBaby · 03/06/2013 10:19

Hi ladies Smile can i join? Technically i did poas last week and got bfn but AF is only due today so im hoping it was just too early. Going to try and leave it a few days and then poas again if af not turned up by then.

Were ttc #2, cycle 2 so still early days i suppose, but that doesnt make it feel any better!

Have you's got any 'symptoms'? I must have them all imaginary or not i dont know Lol. Feel sick and sore boobs are the main ones, but im sure i felt like this last month aswell so trying not to get too hopeful Blush

GinRickey · 03/06/2013 11:43

Hi BartBaby. Last week could definitely have been too early - it's not over till AF shows.

I'm desperately trying not to symptom spot as I know my normal PM symptoms are quite like early pregnancy (sore boobs/slight nausea). The only thing I've noticed is that I haven't actually felt sick this month...

BartBaby · 03/06/2013 16:09

Maybe thats a sign then gin Grin

Ive been feeling really sick yesterday and today. That was the first thing that i had with ds and prompted me to do the test. But going by last month it could just be a pre af symptom. She's not arrived yet tho so fx!

justhayley · 03/06/2013 17:28

Hiya, I just went to Sainsbury's and whilst there picked up a cheapy test in anticipation Smile going to try not use it until Wednesday which isn't going to be easy.

I havnt had the obvious symptoms but I didn't with DS either until I got to 6/7 weeks. I had a few things that could be classed as signs last week but nothing this week (apart from missing AF).

Iv just been to the park with 3 friends one of which is 13 weeks pregnant and one who has decided to start trying this month. So we pretty much spent 2 hours talking about getting pregnant and babies. I'm surrounded by it at the moment. My best friend is 16 weeks and we are going for dinner Wednesday night, not sure if I should POAS Thursday as if I do it Wednesday & get a bfn I'm not going to enjoy talking about her pregnancy all night. Iv done a count there are 12 pregnant women on my Facebook at the moment, I just want to be number 13 Smile

Hopefully we'l all get positives this week - then we could turn this thread into an antenatal one Grin

I've poas twice today 3 times since Saturday. Might try again tomorrow, might hold off till Thursday. I really don't know when AF is due as this is my first cycle since coming off hormonal contraception. I'm getting quite impatient now on CD31, which I'm sure you wouldn't have noticed had I not pointed it out.

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 17:56

Theoretically af is due on Sunday for me. I'm just off hormonal contraception too so I'm in the same boat as Catherine and I'm not quite sure when af is due although I definitely am not expecting her much before Sunday.

I've got sore boobs and sensitive nipples although this seems to come and go, really thirsty but can only sip water as it's starting to make me feel bit sick this afternoon and pretty sure I'm peeing more than normal for all I've drank but it is probably all in my head. Have definitely been feeling randomly breathless just sitting at my desk, although this is something I have had before and Dr put down to viral infection.

Pg tests are winging their way to me through Royal Mail so I have to hold out till they arrive but hopefully it'll be a BFP when they do!

Trinpy · 03/06/2013 19:37

ok, Im in too.

There's so much going against us conceiving so I'm not too hopeful but...I'm poas on Thursday, Saturday and Monday and all the days in between.

Good luck everyone! Smile

justhayley · 04/06/2013 08:27

Ooo that's sounds promising Disney Smile keep us updated.

Catherine lol iv seen your other thread. Why don't you save yourself a small fortune and leave it a week so your be pretty sure your AF is late.

Hey Tri, iv got quite a few things against me conceiving as well but hoping im lucky and it happens anyway - and soon!

I managed to get through the night without POAS determined to make it to tomorrow. Although I think I'm putting it off to avoid seeing a bfn Hmm at the moment whilst AF is 13 days late I can hope Smile

Gin and Bart any news for you? Did AF arrive or are you still hanging on?

OP posts:
DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 08:37

I'm not so sure my symptoms are so transitory. They appear for a bit, I get excited and then they go away again will find out this weekend when I POAS. Although not entirely sure when AF is due...

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 08:38

Oh and well done Hayley for resisting the urge to POAS!! They should invent an award for ladies who do that

BartBaby · 04/06/2013 09:08

Yes well done hayley i definately wouldnt be able to wait that long to poas! Its sounding really hopeful for you though if you are so late Smile

Still no af yet for me, ive only had one full cycle though since having the coil removed that was 27 days so im not sure yet how long they will normally be. I poas anyway with an interner cheapy and still bfn Sad so i fear i am out this month already.

TeaAddict235 · 04/06/2013 10:03

Hey ladies, i'm meant to poas soon too. AF is due today or tomorrow. Am trying to wait until the w/end to be certain of AF's absence. Exciting times but must remain resolute and calm at work so that they don't suspect anything. Accidentally mentioned something mildly baby related some months ago.

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 11:07

I've been living on this site even in work so I'm pretty sure my team all know I'm trying.

justhayley · 04/06/2013 11:09

Take the award back girls I couldn't resist the urge any longer & POAS this morning. Got a big fat Negative Hmm
I'm gutted. Thought I had a positive as a line appeared in both windows but this stupid test needs a line and cross.

BartBaby · 04/06/2013 11:29

Sorry to hear that hayley af will likely show up soon now you have tested. Mother nature just likes playing awful tricks on us to give us false hope!

Im trying to look for a positive in that i can still have a few Wine in the garden in the sunshine now its finally arrived.

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 11:40

That's just cruel!! Bet it was a man who invented that test so every time you POAS you get a moment where you think you have a BFP only to realise it's a BF[muther f-er]N

Thanks girls, bit gutted I did try & not get hopes up but with a 13 day late AF it was hard not to.
As soon as I got the bfn I booked myself in with my GP. Want to try & figure out why my periods are so irregular. Its silly me TTC when I'm not 100% when/if I'm even ovulating & fertile.

Yes it was the white Sainsbury's one Champagne. Such a tease. I didn't bother looking at the instructions because all other tests iv taken just require a line in each window to be positive.

BartBaby · 04/06/2013 22:06

I think its impossible not to get hopes up. Even when you know you shouldnt. With all the pg symptoms we all get, and af showing up late just to stick the boot in aswell! I think we all deserve a medal and lots of vino for getting through it each month!

KittenCamile · 04/06/2013 22:43

Can I join? Af not due till monday but that's nearly this week!

On cycle 8 and had my 21 day test on monday, get the results on thursday so fingers crossed! We went on holiday this month so I'm hoping all the sun and nice time with DP helped.

All I have is very sore, bruised feeling nipples, they are swollen and looking a darker pink.

Good luck everyone!

DisneyDiva87 · 05/06/2013 09:48

I agree Bart when I'm being logical and realistic I'm 100% sure that I'm not pregnant but I want to be so badly that I am still hoping beyond hope that my BFP will turn up (there is still a chance even if it's only the size of a pinprick!)

Trinpy · 05/06/2013 11:15

sorry to hear that justhaley. definitely go to your gp. my cycles are very irregular too (going between 3 weeks and 3 months Hmm ) and I'm now booked in with a subfertility clinic to find out what's wrong. how long have you been ttc?

I completely caved this morning and got a bfn at 9 dpo (no willpower).

BartBaby · 05/06/2013 15:50

I think AF has landed. Better luck next time Sad
