I'm 34, never done this before, a little paranoid about fertility if I'm honest.
What health tips do people have?

most health tips are just general ones to increase your general health, rather than specific to increasing your fertility. that said, it is great to be healthy so that when you DO get pregnant you have the physical strength to get through it relatively unscathed!
i would recommend starting a folic acid suppliment and making sure you eat enough calories a day, as eating too few can sometimes affect fetility. try and up your omega 3 with increasing the amount of oily fish you eat, as most ppl don't eat enough of this and it will be good to build up your "reserves" before you get pregnant!
the nhs website has good advice too.
i hope it goes well for you

Start folic acid now.

Eat healthily and take some exercise.

That's good enough fr most people!

Yes yes to starting folic acid.
Also would be worth going to the docs to check if you're immune to rubella (they will probs take a blood test) so that you can be vaccinated if not.
And generally try to be healthy, eat well, exercise, don't smoke, etc.
All the best!

Had a booster a few years ago when I worked in a hospital. But that's a good call. I work in a secondary school so there may be students that haven't been vaccinated - would be good to know my immunity was still as high as possible.

To repeat what others have said start your folic acid now
Eat healthy
Cut out alcohol (if you do drink)
No smoking (if you do smoke)
Ear plenty of omega 3 which is found in oily fish.
And good luck xxx

I think for TTC keeping alcohol consumption at sensible level is the general advice. Same with caffeine. Some women stop altogether, but it's a stressful and often a long procedure so if the occasional glass of wine works for you (until BFP of course) there's no point beating yourself up about it. Above all don't set yourself impossible goals when it comes to diet and lifestyle, focusing on relaxation, getting more healthy gradually and maybe enjoying one or two of the things you won't be able to do in a few months time. At the moment I am doing a treat every month like going to a spa and eating raw fish while I still can!
