Hey Everyone. Okay so heres my story...

My partner and I decided to try for a baby on the 5th of April so first missed pill was the 6th. Needless to say dtd several times before started a three day bleed stqrting on the 11th with a pinky slush. Then dark nlood that was heavy enough on the 12th and then barelly there on the 13th.

Was that a period or an implant bleed??

If it was a period then AF would be due 9th of May thats long gone now and nearly two weeks late?

I have done numerous tests all negative. The latest on Sunday Morning.

Any theories. Is it that im pregnant? Is it that the peebsticks are wrong? Is it just my cycle sorting itself out? Was that AF or an implant bleed? Am I just young and nieve?

Very, very few women get implantation bleeding.

If you have only recently come off the pill then you don't actually know what your natural cycle length is, so you have no way of knowing when your period is due. Again, very few women have a 28 day cycle, it's just a number used by Drs to help try to calculate things.

If you have a string of negative tests then it is unlikely you are pregnant. False negatives are, again, rare.

My honest advice is that you need to chill out! You've only just started trying and if you get yourself wound up like this every time then you will drive yourself mad - I'm talking from experience.

Have a healthy lifestyle and aim to have sex 3 times a week and things should happen. Just bear in mind that it will take up to a year for most healthy couples to conceive.

If you only came off the pill on the 6th of April, and you got a bleed on the 11th, my guess is that's it a withdrawal bleed from the pill. It usually takes a while for your cycle to start up again, so it could mean that your AF is just late. But it is also possible you might have gotten pregnant in that first month. Perhaps wait another week for AF or another test?

Thanks ladies. Im fairly laid back I want a baby but also read about it been better to get an af before trying. So wanted the AF too.

I decided id wait til friday or the weekend before testing.

I had a religious 28 day AF every month before I started the pill. Was less than two years on the pill and never a day late either x

I don't think it any better if you wait for your first AF, I guess it's just that it helps you to understand where you are in your cycle and to calculate the due date.

Sorry to hear about your SIL.

It will take a while for your body to settle back into it's natural cycle so it may be a few months before you have a regular cycle and when you do it may no longer be 28 days as before.
