So who's next in line for that BFP???

OP posts:
Solars · 13/06/2013 12:33

Thanks Dino, Olives, Sparkes & Kitty

Geek, Biscuits, Keep & Sweetie it still hasn't quite sunk in yet! Had to go in again for bloods today and it looks like I may have to go in every other day still. DH came home with a big grin on his face and we just kept staring at each other all night in disbelief! I'm liking sunbeam by the way Boo!

Face I like Treat too for you.

You'll be seeing those lines becoming increasingly darker very soon Geek How many days are you post transfer now? Can you leave the blackbird to MrG to deal with? I don't think you should be going anywhere near that in your condition.

Beedle are you still up for testing this Sunday?

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 13/06/2013 12:35

Possibly by a day beedle, but I have 3 ICs left from this batch, and have ordered another batch of 50. I'll probably go back to using both from about 11DPEC. Will you be doing any early tests, or waiting until OTD? I know what you mean about this time dragging, it seems far worse than a normal 2ww. I still feel less pg than I normally do during the 2ww which is weird.

ControlGeek · 13/06/2013 12:42

x-post good luck sweetie it is only natural to feel so nervous, especially after everything you had to go through to get to this point. Brooking no argument that all will be well for you though.

solars awwww I'm so glad you and DH finally managed to get some you-time to enjoy this. Sorry to hear you've got to still keep having your bloods taken, is it the NK cells they are still testing for, or just keeping an eye on your HCG levels? I'm 4 days post 3dt today.

I am sorely tempted to leave the bird there, it's tucked into the corner of the step. If MrG sees it he will throw a fit. He loves songbirds, and hates the cats enough as it is. Normally I'd just pop out with a bag around my hand but the thought it turning my stomach today. that and percy is still making bending down a very painful chore

BeedlesPineNeedles · 13/06/2013 13:04

Today I'm 8dp 2dt, I think a FRER should give me the correct result on Sunday which will be 11dp 2dt. Though if its negative I'll still be holding onto a bit of hope until next Thursday.

sweetie we can do impatient waiting together.

solars was this --> :o what MrSolars looked like?

geek I don't think I feel any different either , at least not now I've recovered from all the prodding and poking

Solars · 13/06/2013 13:14

Sweetie also brooking my socks off for you too, I'm sure when the time comes for me too I'd be just as nervous.

Geek they're just keeping an eye on the hcg levels at the moment until the scan. Just received a call from the clinic saying my level is at 470 today and I've been asked to come in at 7.30 am for bloods tomorrow and told to hang around as they will get my NK cell results overnight so they have provisionally booked me in for intralipids tomorrow too. I'd leave the bird then. How is Percy doing? is he on his way out?

OP posts:
Solars · 13/06/2013 13:15

Beedle well i felt hardly anything different either.....

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 13/06/2013 13:31

Still so excited for Solars, but don't we need three baby names for the triplets? Sunbeam, sunshine and sunflower? Grin

Must be so hard for Beedle and Geek to endure the 2ww knowing you are pupo. Brooking that time flies til you get your confirmations.

So excited for all the brookers these days!

Solars · 13/06/2013 14:41

'La, la, la'

By the way Beedle I still haven't mustered up the courage on opening up your link on the progesterone clean up....

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 13/06/2013 14:49

solars sounds like your levels are doing brilliantly, you are well on course for doubling yesterday's level within 48 hours. sooo, if not triplets, how many would you like?

ControlGeek · 13/06/2013 15:05

(as in, quads/quints/sexts etc Grin)

RubberBullets · 13/06/2013 15:10

Who is next to confirm, I've lost track.

If Sweetie is having twins and Solars is having triplets, it makes sense that the next brooker is having quads :o

ControlGeek · 13/06/2013 15:23

she be next :) (and no, I am not have quads, despite having DTD at the right time to have caught all the eggs they didn't retrieve Grin)

ControlGeek · 13/06/2013 15:30

quints even. Evidently I can't count beyond 4 Grin

Solars · 13/06/2013 15:44

oh yes then it's Maybe with sextuplets and Cups with that huge afc count having septuplets(?)! Grin

I would be happy with one Geek but twins is appealing, considering I'm 40 (!!) and i'm not sure i could cope with going through icsi all over again for our second...

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 13/06/2013 16:33

Did you get a frostie in the end solars? I can't remember. When's your scan? It sounds like hcg is increasing in a textbook fashion :)

'Happy with one'. Understatement of the century! :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/06/2013 17:14

Woah woah woah! One bambino is enough for me though I'd secretly love twins

So pleased your levels are doing so well Solars

SweetieTime · 13/06/2013 18:50

Cups could be Octomum with such a high AFC, although Geek could be giving her a run for that title if all the little follies popped.

BlindKitty · 14/06/2013 06:08

Twins would be a dream come true (as would one tbh lol). Just think, you'd never have to worry about ttc again!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 14/06/2013 07:38

Octomum ShockShockShock

Seriously I wouldn't mind twins either, triplets not so much as I would have to move house and I'd probably never work again Grin

Just a quick one from me as I'm about to start work. Good luck for today Solars with tests and intralipids if you need them.

I never heard back from the clinic so I assume my bloods are ok.

How are the PUPO's? Smile

Maybe any idea when you will start stimming?

ControlGeek · 14/06/2013 08:13

(Waves to our newest btepp solars) how are you feeling this morning? Good luck with blood tests, levels, nk cell results xx

Cups brooking that no news is good news as far as your test results go. Are you definitely on for starting this cycle now? Your clinic has me very confused :s

Been awake since half two with bloody percy and his mates. Can't see how I'm going to go back to work on Monday. Can't even sit on a chair for five minutes at the moment. Stupid q but can you even get a dr's note for the likes of percy? Self cert runs out today but feel like it' such a stoopid embarrassing reason to be off. Dink will really think I'm taking the piss.

Definitely learning to control my impsitis, but it has taken me best part of half hour to write this (grin)

Sorry not to namecheck more, can't read back properly on phone. Will have a nap then bring laptop back upstairs later.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 14/06/2013 08:22

I should think your Dr will be able to help with time off, he/she has met Percy so knows what you're suffering.

Solars good luck today :) Has it sunk in yet that sunbeam is with you?

Trix love the name treats for your little one :)

Brooking for everyone

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/06/2013 08:34

Oh Geek you poor thing. Your doc will definitely help. Just give them a call.

Hope everything goes well today Solars

Cups hurrah for no news being good news. I have a scan next tuesday, and if that goes to plan, I should start stimming Wednesday evening!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 14/06/2013 10:33

Mrb is a bit worried about me testing early (on Sunday) and getting really disappointed by a negative that then turns positive on my OTD. How likely do you guys think it is that I would get a false negative at 13dpEC using a FRER and an IC (just to make sure!)?

geek hope you feel better soon, do you have adjustable desks at work so you could stand up if you can't sit down? But really who cares what Dink Boss thinks Shock

BeedlesPineNeedles · 14/06/2013 10:47

Oh and my biggest worry with not testing early is that AF would just suddenly arrive before OTD, whilst I'm at work say, and I wouldn't have any warning. I almost want to cry just thinking about it.

ControlGeek · 14/06/2013 10:49

beedle I think 13dpEC should be pretty accurate, especially if you use an FRER. I'm amazed how late the clinics seem to want to test - I suppose it helps rule out early false positives and chemical pregnancies. My clinic OTD is 15dpEC, so you are only two days less than that. More importantly, though, how would you feel if you saw a BFN at that point? Would you feel you had tested too early?

Thanks for the lovely words boo, maybe and beedle. No adjustable desks at work, but I'm thinking of asking to work from home. I'm worried about taking additional time off as we have a rather vicious absence policy and I've known them to sack people for having treatment for organ failure. Dink has been pretty good about the time I've had off so far and I don't want it to seem like I am milking it.
