Blush sweetie

geek how do you think I will know if I need cleaning? Should I ask the random strangers to have a look first? :o

ControlGeek · 07/06/2013 12:22

Definitely, beedle, or maybe a webcam poll with timelapse snapshots? Grin

sweetie it's good that you were prewarned. I've no been told about anything like that, I think I'd be mortified if it was sprung on me!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 07/06/2013 12:47

geek the problem is I really should have had a before picture and I don't. So how will I the random strangers know what its suppossed to look like. Perhaps I should search on the internet for pictures :o

though having said that I did once find something, possibly called my beautiful cervix, where some woman had had her boyfriend take a picture of her cervix everyday for a month. Perhaps I can use it as a comparison :o

RubberBullets · 07/06/2013 13:37

Surely everyone carries pictures of their fanjo around with them at all times Beedle? :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 07/06/2013 14:08

Hahaha, you lot make me Grin

Geek that's bloomin amazing news, I'm so chuffed for you!!

Beedle mine is Crinone too. I really hope I don't have to be scraped out Blush

Solars this is your time, of that I am sure.

keepitgoing · 07/06/2013 15:51

Oh geeky that's fantastic!!!

I had to have a good cleaning before ET, and was v embarrassed too, it was quite, er, violent, I'd been using wax up the front way as instructed. It seemed there was one nurse whose specific job it was. We called her the VCN, vagina cleaning nurse...

ScrambledSmegs · 07/06/2013 22:20

Well. This has all been an education Shock Grin

Yay for Geek and her sextuplets!

Solars everything is crossed for you. Everything. I can barely see the screen Grin

Good vibes to everyone I've failed to mention. I have a migraine, making this the shortest visit ever. Sorry.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 08/06/2013 08:08

:o at keep turtle waxing her bits. You have to look nice for the doctors you know. Though polishing your bits so well that they can see their face reflected back at them might be going a bit far.

Will there be another phone call today geek

2dp 2dt is way too early for implantation right? I woke up last night with really intense AF-style cramps. I had to wake mrb as I thought there was something really wrong with me, like some hideous infection or something. I still feel slightly crampy now. Anyone got any ideas of what it could have been?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/06/2013 09:08

Ooh Beedle that sounds painful. I have no idea I'm afraid. Maybe your body's getting ready for them? Can you give your clinic a call?

Grin Sparks which colour wax would you use?!

Geek you must be so excited!

I think I had a dodgy needle this morning. It bent inside me and I now have a huge red weal on my tummy. It's either that or I have abs of steel Wink

For those that down regged, was your AF later than normal? I feel so bloated with the sorest boobs, and I want AF to come! I'm only due today, but have had no spotting like I usually do

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 08/06/2013 09:39

Geek any news? Brooking like a mad woman for those embys to divide!

ControlGeek · 08/06/2013 10:16

arf @ keep turtle waxing, brilliant! I can't help but wonder what the job advert for VCN would have looked like Grin

smegsssss lovely to see you! Sorry about your migraine, I hope it passes soon. Hope you get a chance to have a good lie down in a darkened room with a cool flannel.

beedle ouch for you :( that must have been really worrying. I think I remember hearing that cramping after transfer was common but if it's that bad then maybe a phonecall to your clinic is in order. From everything I've been reading on embryo development in the last couple of days, implantation is generally reckoned to take place between days 6-9, after the embryo has developed into a blastocyst and hatched out of the zona pellucida. Hopefully it's just normal, settling-in cramps that you are having as your womble is now having to accommodate a growing ball of cells.

maybe that sounds very painful, but had to smile at abs of steel Grin Sorry I can't help with your down regging question, I'm sure someone else will be able to advise.

I'm due a phone call some time today (no idea when) to arrange a time to go up to the clinic tomorrow. I imagine they will be prioritising calls to ladies who need to know fertilisation rates first, so could be any time really.

I am at the end of my tether with my constipation. The sennakot aren't touching it, even at double the recommended dose. It's now been three days and I'm pretty much ready to worship at the feet of anyone or anything that can make me go. Grrrrr!

Solars · 08/06/2013 10:52

Oh Smegs you poor thing with the migraine, I see your crossed eyes and raise you crossed eyebrows, legs, fingers etc so you feel better soon.

Grin @ Sparkle I feel left out with all this washing and waxing, none of that was offered to me :(

Beedle it could be just things settling down, but as everyone has said if its very painful do call the clinic.

Maybe when I was on long protocol I might have been a day or too later than normal, this is common I've heard but it will come so don't worry. Obviously abs of steel Grin

Prunes Geek?

Well I feel nothing today, although yesterday I'm pretty sure I was suffering trapped wind with an achy belly and sore boobs, zilch today!

ControlGeek · 08/06/2013 10:56

Just had the call - five of the six fertilised embies have divided. I have 4 x 5 cell embies and 1 x 2 cell. All are 'good quality' according to the embryologist. According to the webpage I have bookmarked showing photos of embies on each day pre-return, 'human embryos are usually at the 4 cell stage at some point on day 2'. I am v v v v happy right now :)

I need to go in to the clinic with a half-full bladder tomorrow for 9.15. The embryologist won't know until she has looked at them tomorrow whether she wants to do a day 3 or day 5 transfer, so anything could still happen.

Come on embies!

Solars · 08/06/2013 11:03

Excellent news Geek

OP posts:
NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/06/2013 11:13

Oh Geek this has made my day!! I'm so chuffed for you. Would you prefer a 5 day transfer? As for the constipation, I really feel for you. I hope you have some ahem, movement soon Wink

Thanks for that Solas. I know the nurse said I may jut get AF at all, I just want y boobs to deflate Grin

SweetieTime · 08/06/2013 11:50

geek great news on the embies doing so well. Sorry to hear about the constipation, my clinic recommend fybrogel sachets. I also ate prunes too, was taking no chances on getting bunged up.

Beedle I suffered a lot of cramps for a few weeks from ET until 7 or 8 weeks. I was convinced af was on the way the whole time. If you are worried call your clinic

ControlGeek · 08/06/2013 12:46

Phew, thank you solars! You take it easy in your condition though, lovely Grin I can't wait til you confirm your BFP but totally understand you being too nervous to do it tomorrow.

maybe I always thought that having a 5 day transfer would give me the greatest confidence, but having the embryologist describe them all as 'good quality', I think I'd be happy even to have a day 3. Of course, having a day 5 would mean just the one being returned but then I think they're looking at just returning the one tomorrow anyway (if it is a day 3 transfer). Brooking AF arrives soon so you can get on with the stims.

thanks for the advice sweetie, I have sent MrG down to Boots to get whatever they recommend for early movement since the sennakot clearly aren't up to the job! I have also told him to get a carton of prune juice from the supermarket. That's reassuring to know about the cramps, given how well things have worked out for you. How long til your next scan?

cups how are you doing lovely? Still brooking for your ironic BFP but if that isn't to be then brooking that your clinic knows what's good for them and gets you started pronto.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/06/2013 12:51

That's great Geek. Your embie will be settling in in no time! MrM swears by movicol for constipation. I won't tart stimming till the 19th, so it's not too important when AF arrives.

Munxx · 08/06/2013 13:18

Lactulose geek?

Such exciting news all round!

Ds teething. Not a happy house here.

Munxx · 08/06/2013 13:19

Sorry maybe but Grin the mind boggles at tart stimming.....

ControlGeek · 08/06/2013 13:30

Ooooh I didn't realise that maybe, I thought your stimming was determined by when the DR brought on AF. Shows how little I still know Grin

thanks munx that's actually what the pharmacist has given MrG, though he has warned it can take a few days to have an effect. I have swigged half a bottle the max dose it says to take. I now also have a whole bottle of prune juice, and a large jar of prunes in juice.

Munxx · 08/06/2013 13:34

Also syrup of figs works a treat, 'calfig' I think. We have a lot of these issues in the munx household!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/06/2013 13:37

Grin Munx it's what all the cool kids are doing....

Geek it normally is determined by that, but the clinic can keep down regging you until they can fit you in. Hope all those prunes take effect very soon Grin

Munxx · 08/06/2013 13:39

maybe have this enormous cuddle while you are here, brooking so vey hard for you. And indeed all the assisted brookers.
