long bleeding in cycles

I started af cd 27 it lasted 3days then nothing on cd4. Two nights after that I had cramp then started af again now it's cd9 and I'm still bleeding. Never been like this.

Had docs today, I had other things to discuss with other ongoing stomach problems and she just asked me to take a pregnancy test and blood tests

Anyone any ideas or advice?

Hi Babyrose - I had a very very long period last month. It went on for about a month - I went to the doctor and they did blood tests and an examination but did not find anything so it was put down to a hormonal blip. This month it all seems to be back to normal. Might be worth having the blood tests but hopefully it will sort itself out next month.

Thank you for replying. This also happened last month and also last xmas. Had blood tests done yesterday so should have them back soon.

Bleeding has stopped today so 10 days in total.
