Coming off the pill.... Where is AF?

Hi all, I came off the pill at the beginning of April. I had my 'chemical' bleed from 06/04 to 09/04. DH and I have been DTD since then. Not had any sign of a natural AF since and i'm sratyingnto get worried! I know it takes time for the cycles to get back to normal but now I'm scared it will take ages and I really want to start ttc properly!

How long did it take for others cycles to get back to normal?

Same here. Came off Lognyon on the 6th of april. Had a three day bleed the next week and no af since....

Have you tested?

Not the pull but had Implanon out in August and cycles still not good. Long and irregular.

Day 43 today! No sign of AF and unsure if I've even ovulated.

Don't panic just find something else to worry about.

Same happened to me. I tested 5 times when AF didn't come but always a BFN....until the 6th time when it was positive! That was on about day 35 of cycle so I guess my cycle was longer because of just coming off the pill..but I still ovulated and still got pregnant in the first month after coming off it-could be the same for you!

Mine never came! Had last Pill and chemical bleed end June/beg July last year and started getting very nervous beg August. Stuck my head in the sand until mid August when I got my BFP!

Came off the pill in December... Had a 31 day cycle... Then 29... Then 30.... Then 47!
47 days was unexpected but I went to see my doctor and she said it was normal and my body is still getting used to coming off the pill.
So it can take time and even when you think you're back to normal you might get a few long/strange cycles!
Try to stay positive! Don't let it get you down x

Thanks for all your comments! I have done (numerous) a couple tests and all BFNs. Will just wait it out till AF arrives! It's hard when u have spent years waiting to TTC, you just want it to happen immediately once you decide to go for it!

I was on the pill - stopped in Sep 2012 to ttc #2. The first 3 cycles were longer than my regular 28 day cycles (35, 32, 30 days). I then settled into my 28 day textbook cycles for the next 3 cycles (14 day luteal phase). The cycle before this was slightly longer - 30 days - however I had started spotting on cd28. This cycle is bonkers - I'm currently on cd33 with no hint of af!

Work was manic the past 2 months, so stress might be a factor. It's so bad, we only managed to dtd last Sat for this cycle - so can't even be pregnant (BFN yesterday).

FFS I just want AF now! Hoping to try the SMEP next cycle and bought some more OPKs and a basal body thermometer!

Just a little update for u mners! AF arrived today, 41 day cycle. I have never been so pleased to see her before in my life. Lets hope they don't stay that long but settle down now.
