Is this implantation bleeding or AF??

We have started ttc this month & I can't explain why but I really had a strong feeling that we had conceived. My boobs were really tender, I was feeling more bloated than usual and seemed to notice several things that I have read are early signs of pregnancy. I have only recently come off the pill but my last cycle off the pill was 31 days so I assumed this would be my normal cycle length. So on CD28 this month (yesterday) I had some dark brown blood appearing when I wiped and some in my knickers. There isn't nearly as much as I would normally get with a period though. I was really shocked and feel really upset. Can anyone tell me if they think this is implantation bleeding or the beginnings of af please? I guess only time will tell and I think I'm clutching at straws but I feel really disappointed.

Do you normally get spotting before af? Could be implantation bleeding, do a test? Fingers crossed!!

No I don't normally. There is still some blood today but not as much as a normal period. I think it's probably wishful thinking tbh.

Heya, I came off the pill on the 6th of april. Got a bleed five days later. It was just a light bleed on day one. Heavy on day two. Then barelly on the third. I was completelly convinced it was af until I came on here..... Got hope it was an implant but tests have all been negative so far. Im now 4 days overdue and did a test and its negative.....

It could well be implantation bleeding. I just got my BFP on Saturday (wooooohooooo!) and I had been spotting on and off for about a week before that. At first I thought I'd got my period, but it turned out just to be spotting. However, the previous month I had a similar amount of spotting which did eventually turn out to be my period, but I think it could have been a very early miscarriage. So, the only way to tell is wait and see and do a test when you can. Good luck!
