Sometimes people gave a really short surge and miss the surge completely!

Most women I know that use them only got a smiley face on one day... But then again I guess it depends on when the surge happens and how long it lasts etc etc! X

Yaaawn! Woke up at 5.35. Same story as yesterday - bfn within the window and then the faintest of faint pink lines after the ten mins is up. I can still be hopeful but I think it probably hasn't happened for me this month and this is why I shouldn't have started early testing!

jelly the internet test strips are still doing that to me. i just tested again (still hasnt sunk in) and it takes a few mins for the second very faint line to come!

Quick question for all u lovely ladies!!! Have any of u experienced ovulation spotting before? I had is on Monday but not sure when it wud mean I'd actually ovulated? Because its my 1st month TTC I wasn't charting

I did a test yesterday and read it as a negative after a few minutes, but was sleepy and went back to bed. When i got back up there was what i thought looked like the faintest of lines got hopes up

Did another this morning at 4am when i woke up! BFN after the 10 minutes Im now 12dpo so i think it would probably be showing by now. The internet cheapies say they are sensitive to 10 whatevers they are so are some of the most sensitive out there. AF due monday ish, no particular feelings that she is about to turn up, but she rudely just dropped by last month with no warning. If she is on time, the next one would be due on 30th june so i still could be hanging around on this bus. For now i will just wait at the front waiting for the next stop

Morning all . Happy June! today is 10dpo, when will tests be reliable? I did one yesterday knowing full well it was too early and a bfn. Af due Wednesday ish. Doubtful of a happy result though as this is first cycle.

I'm feeling really sick again today! I'm not even a week past ovulation but my nausea is constant and gets quite bad at the supermarket, in the car and whilst having a treatment for my back at the physio. I can't understand why this is happening since probably implantation wouldn't even have happened yet and I wouldn't even be producing hsg! There is no medical explanation, but I did feel exactly like this when I was pregnant with DD and my morning sickness lasted 20 weeks so maybe I'm sensitive to another hormone other than hsg (or is it hcg?)
I tested using my expired superdrug test this morning just in case I mistook AF for implantation bleeding last month. ..BFN
the other explanation is that my blood pressure is very low and it is making me sick. It could very well be that since I've got the classic seeing stars thing when I move suddenly.

I'm 31 now and trying for the 8th month. Does anyone think its time for a trip to the docs? Ove heard a year if you're under 30 and 6months if you're over. Dh thinks I'm being ridiculous and should just keep on trying for now but I'm not so sure. Feeling so sad and envious of all my friends! One has just had her 2nd child, one had a baby last week, one yesterday, 2 due in august, 1 september, 1 october!! Phew! Feel like the pressure is on!

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday...dtd Friday night and yesterday morning. DH was meant to be going out for a mates birthday tonight but he's not going anymore so will try and dtd tonight as well just in case then i guess I'm in my 2ww!

So glad I used clearblue digi OPKs this month... Felt much more sane and in control. Staring at and comparing lines drives me insane!

Anyway.. I've updated the list!

Thank you for your reply gilly we dtd last night but I got another negative on the opk this morning. We dtd on cd14 so maybe there was some sperm already swimming around when I got my smiley on cd16. will dtd again today and then will be joining you in the 2ww!

marie sorry to hear your af has arrived. It might be a good idea to get some basic checks. I'm nearly 30 and on cycle 6 but we were taking the relaxed approach to begin with. I was thinking if I don't get a bpf by October ish I'll go to the doctors. Good luck wishing you all the best.

Hey marie - sorry to hear you're feeling down. It doesn't do any harm to speak to your GP. He/she could maybe do some simple blood tests to check your hormone levels. Do you do charting/temping? That can be quite helpful to see when you ov. When I went to see my GP last she recommended dtd every 2-3 days throughout my cycle though and not to focus on timing it 'just right' as you never can. It's v frustrating seeing people fall pg relatively easily when it's taken a while yourself - I'm totally with you there. And it's hard not to feel the pressure. But time is very much on your side and you're doing the right thing by thinking about getting checked out early. Either way, I'm sure it will happen for you. These things tend to work out when you least expect them to. Good luck.

I thought it would be normal to get a positive on a ov stick for a few days in a row I didn't know it would be so small a window. I got a positive ov yesterday afternoon and this morning so chances are that tomorrow it would be negative?

My AF is due tomorrow. Not feeling any symptoms either way but out tonight so did a test and BFN for me :-( I realise it's not over till it's over but looks like it's not my turn. Think DH is a little gutted but onwards and upwards!!!

I think my period is coming. oh well I guess it's only cycle1. If it does come today, am I: day 25 counted from the start of my end-of-final-packet bleed or day 28 counted from the final pill I took? Answers on a postcard please

That's a tricky 1 Coffee, I have no idea to get around the issue I just didn't count the first 'cycle' after the pill.

I'd be inclined to go for the first day after you stopped taking the pill. If af rears her ugly head though at least you won't have to worry about it [grins].

Hi Disney yeah it will probably be negative tomorrow!
I use clearblue digis and got a positive Thurs morning and thurs afternoon. Tested again Fri morning and it was negative (although when I looked at the stick there were 2 very definite lines but the tests that were positive the day before had an even darker test line).

So I think I ovulated Friday... Possibly even today. Gonna make sure we dtd tonight as well!

Hi coffee it sounds good to me have you used the opk's before? Ive ben using them after having the coil removed just to check everything was working ok. They definately put my mind at rest

Thanks crista and someday. Will book myself in with the gp and see how things go. Been using opks and taking temps for last 3 cycles, as well as using preseed and taking the conception vits! Don't think there's anything more I can do! The sunshine is making all things better and I'm playing with our little puppy which is always a guaranteed 'feel good'
