Oh yes ladies, I've dusted down the most amazing bus you've ever seen!

Hop on board for the ride of your life!!!!!!!!!

Keep this just between us ... This bus can FLY!!!!!!!!

It's quite special... Very magical... And also I've stocked up with vast amounts of chocolate.

ALL ABOARD!! Smile

You're meant to do the same time every day but I don't think an hour makes a huge difference as long as you have had a good sleep before hand!

DH just came back in and said "Get out of bed lets do something nice today!" And I said "ok just a few more minutes I'm letting gravity do its thing" and winked...Wink
He looked puzzled ... then laughed...and walked back out the room Grin

Good. I'm exhausted and really don't fancy my alarm going off at 6.30 again, anytime after 7 feels so much more acceptable. I'm working different hours next week anyway so maybe I can gradually make it later over the weekend than suddenly going from 6.30 to 8.

April13 · 31/05/2013 13:16

OK, seems I was too wuick to fling myslef off the bus...although it seems like AF is approaching rapidly for this cycle, her next scheduled appearance after that is 30th June, meaning I can still stay on the bus for cycle 2 :) My HPT obsession interest has now reverted back to ovulation testing and i have a question. Thought I would try the CB tests this month, but there are two options on amazon; Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test--Pack of 20 Sticks for £22 and Clearblue Digital Ovulation Testing Kit - 20-Pack for £31; whats the best option and difference????? Am I just having a Friday moment (my mind is clearly focussed on consuming copious amounts of Gin this wekend!)
Thanks :)

CristaBell · 31/05/2013 13:17

sounds like your all having fun today Wink

I'm stuck at work thinking about my unexpected smiley this morning! got to go out after work to, hope I don't miss my chances.

CristaBell · 31/05/2013 13:21

april I got a cb one in track the other day with 7 tests for 4.95 (half price)

I was brave but was looking after to make sure I wasn't seenWink

CristaBell · 31/05/2013 13:21

tesco

CristaBell · 31/05/2013 13:22

sorry using phone, I mean tesco and round!!

April13 · 31/05/2013 13:58

oh, i will pop into tesco on my way home from work then :) is that the normal one as opposed to the advanced one?

FoxMulder · 31/05/2013 14:24

Can you buy the testing sticks separately or do you have to keep buying the whole kit?

DisneyDiva87 · 31/05/2013 14:29

What's the difference between kits and strips? or are they the same thing with a different name. I'm tempted to buy cheapies off amazon (50 strips for £7.90)

ZolaBuddleia · 31/05/2013 14:29

BFN Sad

MrsBarlow · 31/05/2013 14:44

:( Zola

I'm desperately trying not to symptom spot - have felt really awful/headachy yesterday and today which is exactly how I felt when I got a bfp with DS1! Trying not to read too much into it!!

SomeDaySoon74 · 31/05/2013 14:48

Sad Zola. Give it a few more days though eh? It's still quite early to test.
I've resigned myself to the fact I'm out this month. Have booked a doc's appt for fertility clinic referral and have planned lots of lovely things to do this weekend for our anniversary (and to console myself) - a nice run tomorrow, then haircut, full body massage, fancy meal at a Michelin starred place, then comedy (Sean Lock) on Sunday. Might even go to see Great Gatsby again but in 3D! Grin

ZolaBuddleia · 31/05/2013 14:59

Yes, you're right. Just feeling sorry for myself as I'm 42 and DP has only recently come round to the idea of trying for second DC. I feel every month that goes by we're nearer to having to give up.

FoxMulder · 31/05/2013 15:14

SomeDay that sounds like an excellent weekend! I'm celebrating my 30th with a walk to the pub (it's an hour away over fields) with my family...it feels a bit rubbish now I've seen what you're doing Smile

Zola SomeDay's right about giving it a couple of days. Don't count yourself out just yet.

SunshinedreamIng · 31/05/2013 17:40

Exciting!! Our first BFP on the bus! Congratulationsbarebranches Grin
I know how you feel mrsbarlow, it's driving me crazy all this symptoms spotting. We DTD last Sunday morning , spot on ovulation date, and since then my boobs are driving me mad, so sore and painful actually! Then I got a tiiiny Bit of spotting and boobs still hurt like anything. Getting dizzy and a bit of a headache. That's how it was with my DS1 5 years ago, my boobs never hurt before AF....
So all in all really hoping for BFP ! AF is due on Thursday.......
Good luck to all of us this month!!! Smile

SunshinedreamIng · 31/05/2013 17:42

Happy birthday foxmolder Flowers

CaptainCalamari · 31/05/2013 19:40

Yay first bump on board - congratulations barebranches!
I'm 11 dpo today and have been testing since 8dpo Blush all BFNs. Not feeling like its my month so enjoying a glass of rose while watching BGT
Happy Birthday Fox!

Thatssofunny · 31/05/2013 20:41

Congratulations barebranches!! Flowers I'm rather Envy but very happy for you. Grin

I just cried because DP had put too much balsamic vinegar on the salad. Blush I'm not usually that easily upset by food; guess af is very much on her way. He's tried to make it up by giving me some of his Dairy Milk Oreo chocolate. I love Oreos! Talk about bloody mood swings! Blush
Af should be here by Wednesday according to recalculated date, but she's not been on time for the last two months, so why should this one be any different? Angry If she turns up on time, lp will only have been 10 days.

SomeDaySoon74 · 31/05/2013 20:52

Ooh Fox - your birthday plans sound lovely!! I love walking too and nothing better than a walk across fields with a pub at the end Grin!!! Hope you have a fantastic time, I'm sure you'll be spoilt rotten Wine

CristaBell · 31/05/2013 21:12

CristaBell · 31/05/2013 21:15

happy birthday fox hope you've had a great day.

gillywillywoo · 31/05/2013 21:46

Cristabell once you have a smiley you don't need to test again!
You won't often get another smiley anyway!

Get shagging NOW! You have appx 48 hours after that smiley to do it!!! Grin

OP posts:
gillywillywoo · 31/05/2013 21:49

I got my smiley positive yesterday morning... Ok I tested again in the afternoon and got a second smiley but only because I had one test left in that box so thought I might as well!!!!!!

Tested again today (cracked open a new box) and no smiley... As I expected! My surge lasted only around 12 hours i guess which is normal.

Dtd last night and again this morning. Will also dtd tomorrow! Smile

Thatssofunny · 31/05/2013 22:00

I usually get two smileys...on two consecutive mornings. Is that not supposed to happen? Only got one this month.
