Do I trust CM or OPK?

Ok, cycle is normally 27-29 days. Posted a couple of weeks back as I had some weird breakthrough bleed on day 12 which lasted 6 days. Have been doing OPK since that bleeding stopped and have had negatives everytime.

Its 10 days since that bleeding stopped (or day 27 if you ignore that breakthrough bleed) and I'm having stringy CM. So, is the CM a sign of ovulation or do I believe the OPK which is negative?

Any thoughts? Have hardly had a line at all on OPK until yesterday when it was v dark (but not as dark as test line). DTD just in case though. Then today, hardly any line at all again though lots of EWCM....

I never managed to get a positive on those ic tests. My advice is to go for it and if unsuccessful buy some better tests. I got pregnant btw so it was the tests not me. All of that cooling to room temperature I mean

Hi,brettgirl2 - not sure what you mean by "ic tests" and the "cooling to room temperature" comment?!? Sorry if I'm being thick! Im using Clearblue and Boots ovulation sticks.

Hey my first month using opk. Think iv just had my first (+)? Unsure about them myself....

Go for CM - that is your body telling you that the conditions are right! When you get the clear egg white stuff, it is prime ovulation time. If you listen to your body and follow its signs it could save you lots of money!

I'm with you shallweshop! CM must be telling me something. And POAS is losing its novelty!
