Sorry to sound dramatic but I had my DD2 7 months ago and at my 8 week check I had a myrena fitted. It was painful for a week but then settled down and haven't thought about it since.
To be a bit personal when DH and I were ummmm "loving each other vey much" 
he commented that he could feel the strings. The doctor told me when he fitted it that you were supposed to be able to feel them so I didn't worry but I've started having pains in my left side roughly where my ovaries are which I had during early pregnancy with both of my DD's. I've done two tests both are negative but if I am pregnant I'd only be two weeks tops so it would be too soon to tell wouldn't it???
I'm really panicing and DH is in bloody Germany and has his phone off so can't talk it through with him.......any advice gratefully received!
