Come on ladies, this is the one! Time for some BFPs!

The smallprint- Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers)

Can't believe how childish your Sil sounds barking! Thats your dps sister rather than his brothers wife? Good work rising 10 times above her level and not getting riled, just no point when someones so irrationally mean and rude!

GooseyD · 07/05/2013 12:02

And now on way to work after hsg. Apart from medical team and hospital set up seeming rather awkward it was fine. Rather amusing now Im out of there! The xray nurse couldnt see an image of what she was pointing at so the doctor was telling her up a bit down a bit, right, no no I mean the other way etc until he gave up and went off to the little booth himself leaving me legs akimbo, then for some reason I had to clean up in tbe loos and had originally got changed in another room so i was sent off in my gown but knickerless to wander around - youd think they might have been concerned about th
eir floors given Id just had a load of liquid squirted up me and that you're likely to spot aftrrwards! Hmm
But seriously now - Boodle the procedure itself is fine, didnt hurt and is no more unpleasant than a smear.

BlindKitty · 07/05/2013 12:25

Hello ladies! Well sun did come out today and am slightly pink in true Brit style!!!!

Off to a chuiscaria (think I've spelt that right) restaurant. It's basically where they keep bringing meat to your table until you tell them not too! Dh thinks all his Christmases have come at once!!!

Goosey, when is your Hsg? Just in case you're worrying, you've no need to.

Must go as dh has just announced that he won't tell me what's going on in game of thrones if I don't stop p*ing around on mn lol

Frogcatcher · 07/05/2013 12:51

Goosey glad that HSG went ok - FX you're one of those who get upduffed after the flushing (that is that one isn't it?).

Also glad that the sun came out for you at last kitty. Enjoy!

I pimped again this morning & the line was still there & as I'm now 15DPO with no AF I decided I should just man up & think positive that it was sticking. I phoned the drs & asked what I had to do next & am booked in next Tues & the lovely receptionist (rare breed) was the first person to congratulate me. I almost cried.

I guess this means that I should leave you all now Sad Sad Sad but I hope that everyone get a BFP the next possible opportunity & I see you all soon in the Grads (come on over Foody & Tart - it's in antenatal clubs). You've all been amazing with your help on OPKs, ICs & temping plus great fun to keep me sane. Miss you berries so I'll pop in every now & then to see how you're getting on.

SidneyBristow · 07/05/2013 13:53

Aww congrats frog, I'm so happy for you but will miss you as my SM comrade-in-arms Thanks fx we'll all see you soon on the grads thread!

Bunnygirlie · 07/05/2013 14:01

Frog stop right there mrs!!! No need to leave us (just keep the chat about prams to a minimum lol)!

If I ever get my BFP I won't leave till I at least get the 12 week scan out of the way (and maybe not even then), we only ever asked PGers to reign in the pram/baby chat when we were talking about opks and PIMPing. All the girls I know in the grads are about to have their babies this summer so they will soon me starting an Elderberry playgroup group!

Tallyra · 07/05/2013 16:07

oh my god, I missed so much over the weekend... will multi post as I've forgotten who to talk to....
But first, frog, I just got a little lump in my throat when you said that Sad . Please don't leave yet, we won't kick you out I'm sure (not until you start talking about scans and kicking at least).

Tallyra · 07/05/2013 16:09

and tart, don't you dare go running off yet either. And congratulations!!!Grin
Don't kick yourself for one little binge drink, think of all the instadiffers that get pg because of it. And apart from being called Wayne or Traci there's not much else wrong with them!!Wink

Foodylicious · 07/05/2013 16:13

frog had a quick look over at the grads but they are all really far along, not ready for that yet.
here is where I am at with some lovely peeps if you or tart want to have a peek.

Hello all,

frog tart I think you all should stay on too. You could adopt some kind of advisory role for us!

Speaking of advice hope you can help ladies. Finally got my opk positive on day 17 (sunday) which is late for me, did another opk yesterday which was negative so expected to ovulate yesterday but no temp rise today so don't think I'm going to ovulate this cycle. I'm meant to be going for blood tests on cd21 but I was going to go this week as my cycles are not 28 days long. Even if i haven't ovulated shall I still go this week anyway? I'm getting other tests done and I can't bear to wait another month to find out what's going on.

Really worried that I haven't ovulated and just spoken to DH and it appears that the docs have not got his swimmers test results yet but the hospital say they sent them
last Tuesday! Grrrr!!!!

GooseyD · 07/05/2013 17:06

Hi yorkie my temps rise anything between one and three days after opk pos, not that my useless cycle is anything to hold up as an example! I would press ahead with tests and ask for another p4 one next month if it comes back low. Or if your gps nice, ask them.
kitty yay for the sun! had hsg this am and not too bad as you say.

BlindKitty · 07/05/2013 17:29

Feeling a bit sad that frog was thinking about deserting us :-(

goosey glad your Hsg went ok, to you it would glad I didn't tell you about my mate who was in so much pain she vommed on the table

yorkiebilb · 07/05/2013 18:10

thanks goosey and glad your hsg wasn't too bad. I normally get a positive opk on day 12 - 14 so day 17 is late for me plus my temp tends to go up between 1 and 2 days after the first positive hence why I don't think I have ovulated this cycle. I guess they'll just send me for another day 21 test then

barkingtreefrog · 07/05/2013 18:12

Oi, kitty take that back - my hsg is in a couple of weeks!!

goosey SiL is DP's brother's wife. Although his brother isn't much nicer. Threatened to punch him in the face last year over some misunderstanding about where their mum was spending Christmas and who was driving her. DP and his brother are just chalk and cheese, they have nothing in common except being brought up by the same woman (they're not even blood related as DP's brother was adopted).

Think I've finally ovulated. CD 23?!?! So should be 8 days away from calling on CD1 to book my hsg. I will finally feel like things are moving then :).

yorkiebilb · 07/05/2013 18:17

Hey barking sorry obsessed with ovulation at the moment. Is it normal for you to ovulate so late in your cycle or is this a crazy cycle for you too?

BookTart · 07/05/2013 18:58

yorkie, I'd do what goosey said and have the test anyway and then more next month if it is inconclusive. I never have any luck with opks, for the first few months of ttc I was totally convinced I wasn't ovulating at all, then I switched to temping + cbfm and found out that I actually was all along.

Glad the hsg wasn't too bad goosey I've got everything crossed for you and barking that the hsg does the trick for you :)

Tallyra, if this one sticks then I shall name it Wayne/Traci in honour of my responsible ttc drinking schedule Grin

happylass · 07/05/2013 19:48

Evening Berries. Glad your hsg went well Goosey and good to hear the sun has made an appearance for you Kitty
Frog Foody and Tart please don't go!! If when I get my BFP I fully intend to stick around for a fair bit whether you lot want me or not. Plus we need your babydust pg vibes.
Still waiting for AF here. Been feeling the cramps for a few days but shes not actually due until tomorrow. Keen to get on with the next cycle now seen as this one was such a disaster!
Off to revise for an exam now that I've not done anywhere near enough work for Sad

Bunnygirlie · 07/05/2013 19:50

Evening Berries, how's tricks? Full of cold here so pretty fed up!

Glad HSG went well goose. Wonder if I'll end up having one of those one day.

Got another +opk tonight, after several months of no positive now 2 days in a row, is that normal?!?
CD13 here, DTD on days 7,9,10,12, do I dare try to jump DHs bones today or tomorrow when I am full of lurghy and he is v stressed with work?!?!?

OP posts:
yorkiebilb · 07/05/2013 19:50

Thanks tart see you've slotted into your advisory role very nicely Smile

Cate555 · 07/05/2013 19:51

Yorkie I got a pos OPK on Cd19 last Monday but didn't get temp rise until Thurs. FF gave ovulation as Wednesday so you could be ovulating today???
I read on FF that data from the charts they have show most people get pregnant on the 2 days before or day of ovulation - interesting!!

Frog Foody & tart don't gooooooooo Sad

Cate555 · 07/05/2013 20:03

I've been looking into ways to de-stress. Has anyone tried or know much about mindfulness? I've ordered a book on it. Might be worth a try.

BoodIeBee · 07/05/2013 20:35

Oh pants...I'm totally going to be a table vomiter... Really not looking forward to tomorrow! Trying to catch up with other news but I am on my phone!

Frogcatcher · 07/05/2013 20:39

I'm still here - just lurking Grin. I def got lucky on day of Ov as we didn't DTD on the days either side. JUMP him bunny

Bunnygirlie · 07/05/2013 20:54

Hey frog! Thanks, never had 2 days +opk in a row, I just hope the weekend shags were lucky coz it is so unlikely that DH or I for that matter will be up for it tonight when he gets back. Bloody great timing to be sick Sad

OP posts:
BoodIeBee · 07/05/2013 21:00

Bunny - exciting that you've got a 2 day + OPK! I think the weekend shags should be 'viable' in theory, but if you can muster the energy for another one today/tomorrow morning, it can't hurt, can it? Sorry you're feeling ill though.

Have a lovely evening at your pig out exotic restaurant, Kitty! I'm glad the sun has finally come out for you!
