So; I did a test this morning - it said POSITIVE! I am in shock.

I've had 3 miscarriages (in less than 1 year) all around 6-7 weeks, the last being May '12 - I thought I'd never fall pregnant again. 10 months on I am!

So, I tried acupuncture, no dairy, Maca supplements, daily baby asprin (not for long though), healthy eating, no booze.....yada yada. Been for numerous tests which have all come back fine, I have no issues allegedly - it's all been bad luck.

So, at 42 years old maybe this is my time....?

Advice please ladies - should I take the baby asprin again each morning? Anything I should avoid? Anything I should do/take...?

From a very happy yet slightly nervous Flawless Grin

Congratulations! I haven't heard of downsides to baby aspirin (pre-existing contraindications aside). My clinic puts everyone on it from egg collection onwards.

GruffaloAteMySocks · 10/04/2013 18:38

No idea about the baby aspirin, just here to say congratulations!

fanjodisfunction · 10/04/2013 18:42

congratulations, fingers crossed for a very sticky bean.

Dont know anything about baby asperin, maybe have a chat with your doctor? I guess the advice I would give would be take it one day at a time. And remember today you are pregnant, dont worry about tomorrow. Im 11 weeks pg after suffering a stillbirth and two miscarraiges, I really hope this is the one for you. Good luck.

I was 4th time lucky! And then 5th time lucky not long after that. Some days I still find it hard to believe that these two wee boys are really mine!

In both pregnancies I took 75mg aspirin a day, on the advice of the consultant.

Good luck, I hope this is your time.

I was like you - 3 mc and am 43 now. I got all the tests and did the blood work. I am now 10 wks. I asked specialist if I shod now be taking baby aspirin and he said the tests showed your blood or issues around coagulation were never a problem so taking aspirin won't make a difference.

I don't think it would do any harm bit it's likely that your previous mcs and this pg has nothing to do with how thin your blood is,,,
