A friend of mine has now had four miscarriages. She is waiting for an appointment to the recurrent miscarriage clinic but is currently single. Will the clinic frown upon her if she goes there as a single person. I went through miscarriage clinic but had a partner who was tested too... Everyone there whilst I was there seemed to be in couples. I desperately want her to receive the care she deserves and don't want her to be pushed to the back of the queue just because she is single. Should she perhaps pretend she has a partner who works abroad etc...

Any ideas how they work..... Confused

I don't think they would push her down the queue because of her relationship status - I think the only test that they look at a partner for is genetic screening, the other ones just need her. I hope she gets some answers.
