When to test?

AF is now 5/6 days late, will my hcg levels be high enough to get a positive if i test in the evening? dont think i can miss another nights sleep waiting for my answer?...xx

Definatly should be but try not to drink to much and hold on for a few hours if you can so wee will be more concentrated

I was told this when wanting to do a pg test but was actually pregnant so found it impossible to hold it for more than an hour, the irony!!

Come to think of it the bladder is a little more frequent :O fingers crossed :D x

I think aslong as its as much as you can pref over and hour you should be ok, when af is late it shouldn't matter, I've got a positive a few days early so fx x

I tested day af was due but got bfn :(( constant panty watching since and nothing but white cm every now and then....sorry if tmi, just something keeps telling me this is it xx

Well fx for you, the egg can take different lengths of time to implant, I'm usually a 30 odd day cycle girl and once got a bfp as late as cd43!! No af is the most positive sign x

Hello - similar situation over here with me - I'm around 16 dpo depending on when I OV'd (I go by very obvious Ov pains and tenderness) and 3 days late for AF - no symptoms - POAS yesterday morning & evening (diff brands) and both BFN. Would not be planned but would be happy if I was pregnant as have always felt I wanted to be a young Mum (I'm 24) and I'm in a happy, long term relationship with an older guy who has said lots of times he wants kids but only been together for 8 months, so no actual plans for baby yet.
Have been being pretty careful with condoms but one night after a few cocktails we weren't so careful?about 2 weeks ago.

I was supposed to come on AF on 1st April and have had no AF symptoms except being very much more up for DTD - markedly more than usual!! And last week was rather oversensitive and this week been bit depressed and angry (at silly things like not being able to get shower temp right!) So I'm 3 days late (my cycles usually 28/29 days average). Have not had cramps or pains or bloating or heaviness but have been feeling a bit 'loose' in my lower back etc. Feels like I've been going to the loo more often, but maybe that's in my head. No other symptoms either way except AF not shown up ! And doesn't feel like it's going to ! Could it still be possible that I'm pregnant or are the BFN's correct ?? Haven't had any extra stresses?haven't changed diet?.should I go to Dr ??

I would leave it a couple more days and test again...apparently theres such a thing as late implantation which means hcg may take longer to detect if af dont arrive no harm in poas again :)) let me know how u get on :))

AF came today - 4 days late and then suddenly really heavy period started all at once (not normal for me) with lots of heavy back and front aches ( normal). Really really hope it wasn't a very early MC (I had a MC at 10 weeks when I was 18 & was planning to keep the baby...it devastated me) I guess I will never know. Maybe my cycles are just irregular or something. It's awful when you really start to believe you might be pg and you get really happy at the possibility and go a bit loopy imagining ....I couldn't sleep last night as felt so wired with excitement that my late AF might mean I was was pg. Then felt so silly today when AF came.
