hi girls, first time on here

can anyone tell me, if i've had mirena, no periods, will my typical ovulation date pre mirena remain? I always used to come on approx 20th of the month, so am figuring my ovulation date is typically about 4th of month.. is that right.? Or will mirena have changed that?

Just come back from honeymoon and some quite dedicated efforts took place.. hoping to be lucky but looks like a mixed bag here of immediate success and some more long term trying..

will be having a good read of the q & a's on here tho - as I'm totally clueless about all this stuff at the mo!

tks,
becky

mirena doesn't suppress ovulation but perhaps it depends at what stage of your cycle it was inserted as to how it might affect you afterwards (assume you've had it removed but nothing since?)

When i had my mirena removed after 3 ish years i found that my dates were messed up and i ovulated twice in a month and had 3 periods in about 2 months. I think it does mess you up a bit so dont be surprised. It was very odd to see a proper period after not having them for years.
