On CD34 but bled really badly for over 20 days. I dont think I ovulated aroung cd15 cos I was checking with the sticks. So could I have ovulated later. Today I have some pains kinda like af but no other symptoms of af. Sometimes I think it is af but then I think it doesnt feel quite right. Any ideas? Am I being hyper sensitive? Could it be an implantation pains? HELP. Really want to be pg and this would be my first.

Can feel a bit like AF but I didn't really notice implantation either time. Any other symptoms? Sore boobs or tearyness. They are always the give away for me.

been really really emotional for just under a week now. No other af or pg signs at all. Had heartburn for last two days though!!

Go on treat yourself to a test, it'll put your mind at rest either way. [smiile] (Get a two pack cos you'll want another either way, either for next time or to be really sure)

Implantation can feel like af, although tbh I think that if you ask most people they actually don’t remember having implantation or what it felt like, and often those who did have an implantation bleed thought that it was af until it stopped much sooner than it usually does. Lower abdominal pains can signify a lot of things though, start of af, pg, or even ovulation. As you’ve been on depo and previous bleed was your first bleed since coming off depo, it’s possible you could be ovulating and as you haven’t ovulated for a while this could be more painful than usual. I know that the first time I ovulated after having ds it was extremely uncomfortable.

If you’re pg, then a test won’t show up positive until at least 5 days after implantation so I would hold off testing for now. I have some early HPT’s that are just dip sticks and I found painfully difficult to use, but if you’re interested drop me an email on [email protected] and I’ll happily send you one to save the cost of a branded hpt. Good luck xx

I have a question along the same lines ... I came off the pill 14 days ago and had the usual 'period' experienced during the 7 days off the pill (which started 12 days ago). I haven't gone back on the pill as we want to ttc now. BD last night only to find light bleeding this morning when I went to the loo, almost like when AF is starting. However I have had nothing further today but have a dull ache in my lower back.

Any suggestions what is happening? Am I just obsessing about ttc?! Blush

sb implantation usually occurs around 7-10 days after fertilisation, so if you only had intercourse last night then what you have experienced today wouldn't be implantation.

If you've had bleeding after intercourse this could old blood which is still in there, or (tmi sorry) if you had quite... erm ... vigorous sex, this could cause bleeding also . Don't worry about it too much unless bleeding after sex becomes a regular thing, in which case you should consult your gp.

what ever happens...

good luck sb!!!

Thanks both of you for the reassurance! Don't think we were particularly going for it the other night, but knowing we are ttc does make it all feel a bit different ( more purposeful?) Blush Blush Blush I can't believe the embarrasing things I am prepared to reveal on mn, but so glad to have you all there to give me honest replies! xxx
