No AF, three days late! BFN x 2! Anyone experience this & get a positive later?

Hey, ladies..

BFN and three days late for AF! My bb's are so sore, up into my armpits and a bit of colostrum comes out if squeezed.. I have been checking my cervix and if AF were going to come, I guess it would be down low and dry, but NOPE, it's not; it's high, soft, closed, wet and practically invisible against the wall up there! I am also having a bit of hip pain, which has happened in both of my first two pregnancies, almost immediately. So, my question is... I just really want to know has anyone had a BFN after three days, only to find out later that is is a big fat +++++++! ????

Hi I'm 6 days late and still BFN, not having any symptoms like you. Sorry I can't be of more help but just to let you know I'm in a similar position to you and will be interested to know what happens over next few days!

I will keep you updated. I am going to test on Sunday morning, by then I will be 5 days late, then on Monday I'm going to make an appointment.

Also, last month no AF, but 3 BFN HPT's and one Negative Blood Test.. the doctor said I must have just missed one, but not preggers.. but she said if I missed another that she'd arrange an ultrasound. Honestly, I do not think I was pregnant when all of this occurred because I am fairly certain that I O'd this month.. but now what the heck?

Also, keep me up to date as well, Penny31!

Yes this happened to me. Two negative tests when I was 1 and 3 days late, then positive at 5 days. I'm pretty sure it's because I was using cheap pregnancy tests from the Internet for the first two...

I'm in the same boat...

AF was due last weekend, still not here. I'm pretty sure I'm not preggers as I have had 3 BFNs (well the first looked a bit faint line-y but the other 2 were clear as day BFNs) all with FMU so hard not to think they are right...

My cycles used to be all over the place but in the last year they have been on the nose regular (I could even predict down to the time of day it would arrive) I have recently lost just under 2st so I think it may be something to do with that and I can't get excited as I have been TTC for 5.5 years so this has happened before as well as having multiple MCs in that time tooHmm

I have my fingers crossed for you OP and the others who are waiting...

Clutching at straws here but were your tests the 10mul Internet ones? Hoping for BFP as AF due Wednesday but getting bfn today on the cheapies.stubbed

I do know of people not getting BFP until week after AF due so not unheard of ..

I'm 9 days late. Bfns on the ic's. I've had light cramping for 2 weeks now. My cervix has been really low since yesterday and I've had really really bad af cramps for about 30 mins this morning, but nothing since then. I know I ovulated almost 3.5 weeks ago - definitely wasn't delayed or missed.

God knows whats going on.

Same here. 3 days late and cycle usually like clockwork, BFNs from internet cheapies. Wondering wether to go and buy a proper one. Haven't told DH as I don't want to get his hopes up! Feeling a bit sicky, but that could be cos I'm stressing myself out! Confused.

How many days late are you Lees?

I can't belive I am currently on 24 dpo!I've never had a lp this long before. Can you ovulate but not have a period (assuming you're not pregnant that is!)? I had more bad af cramps this morning but not as bad as yesterday.Last night I suddenly felt really lightheaded and almost fainted, I don't know whether that could be related. I think if I get Friday without either a period or a bfp then I will ask my doctor about it.

Hope the others on this thread are having better luck!

Only 2 days and I do wonder if thinking about it all the time has made me late but my periods have been so on the dot up until now! Fx for everyone x

Is it possible that you ovulated later than normal/not at all? If your ovulation is delayed for one reason or another then your period will be correspondingly delayed, so you are not actually "late".

It is not possible to ovulate and not have a period. Once you have ovulated a chain reaction is set on place with the hormones. If you are not pregnant then your uterine lining will shed approx 14 days (though can be anything between 10 and 18 days) after ovulation.

Yes I suspect for some reason I have ovulated late :( which means I am sure we will have missed the slot lol! Next month im throwing dates out the window and were just going to have sex! If AF hurries up and comes!

Yes, suppose I could have ovulated late, not very good at keeping track of it all really, mainly because af is always so bang on time I just vagluely calculate based on that using my phone. DH was away skiing when I thought I was ovulating, but perhaps my body postponed it for his return home! Lol! Will have to wait and see. I'm never late for anything so this is really bugging me!

I definitely didn't ovulate late.

I can always tell whether I've ovulated or not. It's very very obvious for me. Equally, when I've had delayed ovulation before I've been aware that I didn't quite make it and my body tries to ovulate again 10-14 days later. The longest lp I've ever had was 21 days and that was my 2nd cycle off the pill, otherwise its always around 13 days.

Sorry to hear that penny31 seems that a "late" AF but BFN is not something to get excited about :( I just wish none would come now so that I can focus on next month! Although this messes up all my dates!

Sorry to hear you all had af. Day 25 for me... The doctors suspect that a hormona imbalance is causing my erractic cycles, so I'm wondering if that also caused me to have a very early period. I had bleeding on and off between 6-10 dpo. It was only the tiniest drops of blood but maybe that was my lot for this month.

Hmmm I had 6 days of something started off as brown discharge And mainly stayed like that wih the odd light coloured blood. Wonder if that could have been an early period for me too! God I was so regular when not ttc!!!

I had perfect cycles before ttc too. My mum keeps telling me she can't understand why I'm having so many problems because all the women in our family, inc her, get pregnant at the drop of a hat, first month trying Angry.

Well if my cycle was 28 days this time which they have been up till now the discharge started 5dpo and lasted 6 days. My periods are very heavy and I didn't even need a pad for this. I then had a tiny pink dot when I wiped on what would be about 10dpo but nothin apart from that but now (assuming a 28 day cycle) I'm 3 days late! I reckon just keep shaggin in case that was my period lol!

How strange, thats so similar to what I had. The tiniest drops of brown blood for 3.5 days and then pinkish on day 10.

I hope you get your bfp soon. I think I must be broken...
