My cycle is all over the place.

I stopped taking my pill in October, I never rembering so I just have up. Have been using condoms since. I have been tracking my cycle for 2 months as we want to ttc dc3 soon. So I had a normal period beginning 26th jan. lasted a few days, fairly light, normal for me.

33 days after that I started my next period, v light, lasted about 3 days, about 3 days after that ended I had a heavy 10 day long period. I had a smear at the beginning of feb, could that have affected my cycle?

Now I'm not sure when I am ovulating and am confused as to what is going on. Any ideas?

Am watching out for answers too. I came off the pill in aug and am actively ttc. My last few cycles have been 33, 40, 35 and 17! Haven't a clue what's going on so am just dtd every 2-3 days hoping we hit ovulation!

It's confusing isn't it?! Dc1 was a happy accident, with dc2 I came off the pill and conceived in the 2nd cycle, ovulating on day 14 of my cycle, totally textbook. Now I'm all over the shop!

It sure is. I'm trying to conceive my first so really hoping its not indicative of any major problem. Dh is just enjoying all the practising!

Don't panic.

I had irregular periods with around 5-6 weeks between them when we tried to conceive DC2. DH's sample was good so they put me on clomid. I conceived the first month, as I knew when I was ovulating it was easy to have sex at the right time. DS2 is now 9 .

I just don't know what's going on. We aren't really ttc yet but had unprotected sex on the day I should have ovulated going by my period starting 28th feb. But did I ovulate then seeing as I had another? period after that one ended. Dp is now away so I very much doubt it will happen this month.
