OPK's & PCOS

Now I know there is potential for PCOS to affect readings on OPK's but I'm wondering what other people's experiences of this are?
I've been using OPK's a while, and never had a positive...until this afternoon. I was SO excited to see that smiley face!
I have a heavy, dragging feeling in my lower abdomen, sort of like AF arriving. Been around for a few days, I stupidly allowed the idea of a BFP enter my mind as my boobs have been sore and I feel so heavy and achey.
Does anybody have OV pains like this? It's not how I imagined it'd feel.
I'm not on any medication which could affect result, and got a BFN earlier - although not with FMU.
I just wish it would happen

I had not one positive opk after peeing on them daily for a year. Somehow ds slipped through the net! Found out I was having ds the day before our first fertility appointment!

We've got our next appointment mid-May, really pinning my hopes on something happening before then as cant face any more procedures.

Thank you. I do feel for you. Are getting treatment for the PCOS?

I know it is easy for me to say and please don't think I'm being patronising, but the month we conceived ds, we had literally said fuck it. Stop the pressure, stop the POAS, stop thinking about it, we knew our appointment would be coming up so we just wait to see what was said there. And the rest was history.

He will be 2 next month :)

Well...looks like I did ovulate, got a BFP today!!!! More a faint, just about positive but a line is a line so I'm told. Didn't use FMU either, so have another test ready for tomorrow when I'll be 14DPO. I can't believe it!! Never ever though we'd see a second line.

That's amazing news, so thrilled for you. PCOS is a bastard, so it's great to hear when people get BFP. Hope it all goes well for you!
