Anyone tried to conceive after having the Mirena IUD in for a Long time?

I had my IUD removed two days ago after 7 years. I'm turning 38 next month and I'm WELL aware of what my age means in terms of trying to conceive :( What I don't know is how having had a mirena IUD in for so long will affect things. I would love to hear from anyone who has tried conceiving after having mirena for a while. fwiw, I am cramping like I'm going to have a period, but nothing yet...

I was pregnant before I even had my first period after having one in for 4 years. I was 33 at the time.

I caught first month of trying, Coil out Dec 9th 12, BFP 1st Feb 12, Sadly MMC 15th March 12 but these things are sent to try us

Thanks for your feedback. I actually started having a period in the hours since I first posted, so I'm taking that as a sign that my body is getting back to a normal state of affairs. I'm still anxious that having it in for so many years (two IUDs back to back actually, I replaced the first mirena iud after 5 years) will delay things even more than I thought.
