21 Day test

Is this done 7 days after ovulation? i.e 14 days plus 7 if your cycle is text book?

I ask as I think I ovulated on CD 18, which means that a standard 21 day test would be too early? I reckon it should be done on CD 25.

my gyny said if its the weekend when on day 21 come after not befor, as its better late than early. hope this helps

hi Gbear, i had this done recently and doc was v. specific about it being day 21, he didnt ask me to calc ov dates, but according to persona i think i ovulated around day 12-13. Not sure if that is too late or really what it means. tbh not even sure what they test for on this test, was first thing i have ever had done and am waiting for results.

I think the day 21 test assumes you ovulate on day 14 and have this text book 28 day cycle that few have! I went for mine on CD35 having OV'd on CD28 according to FF and Clearblue Digital OPK test (the smiley face is such a good idea!)
