Newbies very welcome provided they meet the entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers) and bring a bouquet of sausages when they join!

Morning all! After a lovely long walk with dog and DH in the gorgeous sunshine (very exciting to discover it does still exist) I am now planning on spending my day trying to make the bedroom curtains we've been needing since moving in a year ago. God I love the holidays! Sorry happylass, but I will be sharing your sorrows next week.

Thundercatsarego · 06/04/2013 11:29

haycorn am impressed with your early start- I'm still in bed!

barking stop MNing and get sewing!

BombasticPeanut · 06/04/2013 13:49

Oh, my life would be so complete if I had knitted mice in it. Although I do have a knitted boob.

Thundercatsarego · 06/04/2013 14:08

Eh? A knitted boob?

happylass · 06/04/2013 14:18
Hmm
BombasticPeanut · 06/04/2013 14:25

Haha the dog loves it. Wait, I'll try and work out pictures.. here you go Dog loves boobie

In my defence, it's part of my midwhiffy paraphernalia. I don't have a woolly bosom fetish Grin

Frogcatcher · 06/04/2013 16:54

Good to see you merk and sorry you're having such a rough time. Glad you could share in RL too.

Glad bunnycat is better - DP's one here is stressed according to the vet. Yet another thing that is my fault apparently for moving in with my two.

the knitted boob!

Still no sign of AF on CD32 but a tiny bit of spotting today & some weird twinges right in my bits if you know what I mean. I veer between hope & fear right now as I am now officially late. I'm not pimping yet tho as if FF is right then I could only be 11DPO. I just can't bear another BFN. Anyway last night DP was being such an arse that I was almost hoping I wasn't pg!

Bunnygirlie · 06/04/2013 17:11

OMG peanut that is hilarious! Knitted boobies!!!!!!!!!!!

Thundercatsarego · 06/04/2013 18:05

That really is hilarious! What's it for?

frog when does FF say you should test?

Bunnygirlie · 06/04/2013 19:48

OMG some people really don't think do they, I commented on Facebook, made a small joke about something my friend was ranting about and she said 'maybe when you're a mother you'll understand...'
Things like that just make you feel awful, like a kick in the gut. This is also the girl that cried in front of me telling me how upset she was that her FOURTH baby was a boy! She recently text me saying she feels like people are distancing themselves from her because she is pg, I guess I may have been but not intentionally, it's just too hard Sad

Bunnygirlie · 06/04/2013 19:50

(sad to be all alone, slips under the sofa of pity feeling sorry for herself)

Smoothas · 06/04/2013 20:01

Hello everyone. I was just wondering if there is space for one more..? I have been lurking for a while, but have been really struggling with the whole TTC process so thought it would be great to have others to talk to (DH is great but sometimes just doesn't get the monthly AF tears.)

A bit about me... 30, Currently TTC #1, on Cycle 6 (so not that long in the grand scheme of things but last month's AF really hit me hard). Currently have a 10 day luteal phase (9 if you include spotting) so am wondering if this may be causing me some problems.

I have also recently had a colposcopy following some mid-cycle bleeding and just waiting on the results from the biopsies. Feeling that I should put the TTC on hold until I have the results but really struggling each month with the arrival of AF so also don't want to wait.

Looking forward to getting to know you all but also hoping that we all leave this conception board soon!!!

Hello Champagne. Giving you an back. I hate the dreaded 2ww and the symptom spotting which comes with it. Fingers crossed you won't be here long and this will be your last 2ww!

happylass · 06/04/2013 20:24

Bunnygirlie · 06/04/2013 21:01

Welcome newbies, as long as you pass our very strict entrance criteria you are very welcome to join the gang Wink

Thanks happy but I shall have to decline, given up booze for a few weeks, even though after a vile week at work and my friends comments I am dying for some vino grrrrrrr

FFS we've been married 18 months surely she realises we must be at least starting to TTC, but then again she probably has her usual baby brain! If I ever get pg I promise not to make other ladies feel bad!

And of course I will start a new thread very soon, a little sad that I'll be starting the 8th one though!

happylass · 06/04/2013 21:24

I guess a lot of people just don't think before they speak and to be fair unless you've been through it you probably wouldn't realise how difficult it actually is. I'll definitely be more considerate in future!
Did you start the original thread Bunny? Think I joined towards the end of the first thread, around the time the whole 'Elderberry Pavlova' thing was born. Never thought I'd be here 7 threads later either Sad

BookTart · 06/04/2013 21:32

Evenin' all. I'll still be here for the next thread. AF turned up today, bang on cue Angry. I've had a bugger of a day as well. Bumped into partner's only significant ex this afternoon and am just generally feeling fat and useless. She's got two kids, obviously Envy

Bunnygirlie · 06/04/2013 21:35

Yep happy I started the first over 30 thread that turned into the elderberries! Ugh just looked it up, it was August 2012 I started it. You and pip are my long term TTC buds!

tart that's crap!

Frogcatcher · 06/04/2013 21:58

Welcome smoothas & champagne

Come on bunny plenty of room on the sofa & no need to be under it

thunder as its my first month with FF, had no +ve OPKs & my temps are a bit erratic it changed its mind as to my dashed crosshairs & moved them from CD17 or 15 to 21 which means I'm only 11DPO & not "late" until next week. This despite the fact my av cycle is 28 days & longest is 31 (last month). I tested neg at CD29 & am now on CD32 but have told my DP I might be. Apparently SS was asking today if we had a baby whether it would be his brother or sister Confused. Sometimes wonder whether they pick up on more than you realise

Bunnygirlie · 06/04/2013 22:37

This sofa must be massive lol

So are we keeping our name or changing in slightly for the next thread? I need to get it ready!

Bunnygirlie · 06/04/2013 23:01

Right I've mad an executive decision, new thread is ready and waiting when this one is full, see you in the morning peeps x
