Any advice please!

Hi there, recently started TTC last period started 23/02/13 so due on next period 23/03/13. Was waiting to see if I was pregnant ie missed period ect but yesterday I had a dark brown discharge, thought it could be implantation bleeding but has carried on to today and has now become lighter but red. No where near as heavy as my periods but sounds too heavy from what I have read online to be implantation bleeding. Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts because one website said it was a bit early for IB but if I haven't implanted then I cant be miscarrying right? Any experience with this? All pregnancy tests negative but then it's too early for a positive result anyway!

I'm on another thread about brown spotting on here in case that helps. Someone has just said maybe it like a really early chemical pregnancy where it conceived but doesn't implant? Am not sure, mine is still light and has disappeared a bit so am still hopeful for IB. Seems to be quite common for AF/spotting to mess with our minds when ttc unfortunately!

Yeah mine has stopped now too. Really messing with my head! Just can't understand if I'm too early to have Inplanted then I can't be having a miscarriage and have had no pain or anything although I have the feeling like I would come on my period on the next few days which is a sign of pregnancy isn't it?

Hi leeslocket not sure if it helps but since coming off the pill 3 months ago my periods have been really really light, the first 2 I wasn't sure if it was implantation bleeding or AF to start with! So could just be your body getting back to normal? We're you taking the pill before you started TTC? Xx

Hi ELA I was on the injection until June last year I had my first period since coming off it in September last year and they have been regular as clockwork since. I didn't have regular periods before that and they were and still are very very heavy at the beginning. Since writing the post the discharge has turned into very light but unmistakable fresh blood so I guess I have my answer! Not too disheartened tho we haven't been trying long. :)
