IIRC Superdrug own brand are supposed to be vv sensitive too.

I am packed up and watching Wallace and Gromit with DS waiting for the Kennels to open at 10 so we can drop off dog (black lab called Poppy) and go over to Cumbria. She is looking at me with big eyes as she knows where she is going I think, but can't take her with me if DH isn't with me.

Littlebairn- you have tested really early and if you look at the stats most people won't get a positive until a couple of days before their period.
Why not retest after the weekend- will keep all crossed for you.

I will retest next week as it seems to early to be real.

Your all right I will retest on Monday I bought a pack of 2, feel like I've got a pee stick addiction.
The one reason that made me test early was that I bought loads of meat during my weekly shop, I did that last time too before I got my BFP.

LB hope you are just too early, we may relax the rules and allow you another POAS before next Friday.

I'm v tempted to ask one of the (vet) nurses at work to take some blood from me tomorrow and then present it at the medical centre. I have to go next week anyway for more bloods but it will be too late this cycle for FSH/LH if I wait until then. I did have a look for anywhere local that would do them but no luck. I will see who is around and if there is anyone I a) don't mind explaining why I want them to stab me and b) can trust to keep their mouth shut. Is that mad? My bosses are aware of the situation so I don't think they'd mind at all, I just don't want to be the subject of the practice gossip.

tins - I am a needle phobe but if it's either that or waiting a month, then I'd give it a shit. I bet you get a when you rock up with blood on Tuesday

I've done it the other way round before - asked the human nurse to take an extra tube and run in it our lab to have the results in 8 minutes rather than a week!

I'm struggling to read the thread as it keeps crashing, grrrr, but got my first AF yest (at work, typical) I'm sure I didn't ov last cycle so fx this one, tins are we cycle buddies? And I saw a bfp but MN crashed before I could see who so congrats :-) sorry for rubbish post, not read for a few days, will have to find a pc for a proper read!!

I am so jealous of this weeks BFPs. I havent felt this way at all before. Im really pleased for Jmf and Sunshine too though.
Little I buy my pee sticks from the £1 shop in bulk. I can POAS to my hearts content then!

saggy I do need to start on the cheapies it's getting expensive! I currently have 1 early first response and 2 standard.

Someone else mentioned up thread about Superdrug cheapies. Really good deal on them £3 for a test ( might have been a double pack) that you can use 4 days before your period. Next time if I'm going for earlies I will buy them.

I got BFP on a £1 shop test at 3+2! I wouldn't bother with the £3 ones even!

Morning ladies!! I have just got back from staying with friends - loads of food and girlie natter - it was just what I needed after horrid AF got me last week!!

Massive congrats on the BFP - it's fab news and gives us all hope.

Sorry to anyone nasty AF got - it's such a horrible feeling when she arrives but we will all get our time and when we do it will be amazing - the extra days off work and huge amount of chocolate around this weekend will see us through for now.

Can remember who mentioned it (I'm on my iPhone I can't scroll back up) but I do use an app and find it really helpful - I though my periods were all over the place but using the app can see they are about 38-42 days - long but regular (ish)!!
