Well AF turned up this morning. It means our trying in cycle 0 didn't work BUT at least now I know where I'm up to and can get started for real as soon as AF does one. I'm a bit worried about how bad it's going to be, everything I read says it's going to be the worst ever, but so far it's normal?

LittleBairn · 23/03/2013 13:13

christein I had a late MC then a few weeks post natal bleeding but my first period was fine physically. Emotionally I was a complete wreck be gentle with yourself.

Thundercatsarego · 23/03/2013 13:23

Coffee, if af due today I would poas today!

christine mine was fine too, but heavy but nothing scary. I agree you should go easy on yourself though x

fod27 · 23/03/2013 13:52

tins I'm so sorry your having such a awful time you really would think that they would treat you with more tact considering the situation...it must be soo frustrating playing the waiting game.

It's just sooo hard when you want something so much I feel like I'm clawing my way up an icy hill and I just keep sliding further and further away. I hate this

Mummytothearkbuilder · 23/03/2013 16:41

I am feeling very crampy today - in a way I wish the dreaded AF would just arrive so I know where I stand. My back is so so sore today Hmm

ChristineDaae · 23/03/2013 17:14

Good to know I'm not weird! Emotionally I just feel relieved. It's like the MC is finally over with now and we can start trying to get back to normal. Good luck to everyone POAS this weekend! X

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 23/03/2013 18:10

Fod - that is such a good way to see it, I clearly strolled up the hill first time, and now just feel like I'm on my knees clawing and sliding while others stride on past.
But going to get my snow chains on, get my head down and ignore the blimmin BFP's all around and I WILL BE GETTING MY BFP ON APRIL 5 (oh yes)

GardenWorm · 23/03/2013 20:51

Saw this on Fbook today and am sharing the link in case it helps just one person:
www.sayinggoodbye.org

They also have a video on YouTube which is very touching and may cause blubbing so be warned!

Hope the links work x

CatPussInACrownOfThorns · 23/03/2013 22:50

Well the OPK is even fainter today, so I'm assuming that's that. I just have to sit back and wait now.i need to keep occupied, so I'm getting DP to get the knitting bag from the loft tomorrow, and I'm going to sort my shit out! I've done nothing but eat for the past 3 weeks and I've gained back everything I'd lost. So Monday will be my first fasting day of 5:2.
Then I'm going to walk to my paddock every day and get some much needed exercise.

alyant79 · 24/03/2013 00:05

I've heard only good things about the 5:2 weight loss plan. Hope it works!

Oooh coffee I would poas tomorrow just in case. False af happened like that with my DD

fod27 · 24/03/2013 03:01

choc I know exactly what you mean....there are students getting pregnant everywhere I look and just think "why do you deserve a child?! Because your sooo well adjusted at 16 arent you!) I know that's evil but I can't help myself

I'm crossing everything for the 5th.... Start knitting baby cardigans xxxx

jmf294 · 24/03/2013 07:16

Christine- hope you are doing ok, I felt the same as you during my MC and I was calm during the whole ERPC.
Garden- I had seen that link on Facebook- beautiful, wish I could go to one of the services but I know I would cry.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend- and here's to the next Friday- may it bring lots of BFPs!!

CoffeeandCremeEggs · 24/03/2013 10:32

Well. Negative. And some very very dark brown spotting.

So I have no idea what's going on and can only assume my body's fucking with me. Contemplating joining this week's Friday poas...

Thundercatsarego · 24/03/2013 11:05

Bugger coffee

Morning everyone else (just)

catpuss tell me you have a horse and live in the SW I'm coming round

CatPussInACrownOfThorns · 24/03/2013 12:32

I have 5 ponies but I live in Essex. Your still welcome to come over though! Grin

fod27 · 24/03/2013 13:14

Has been treated to the clear blue opks by my wonderful DF so fingers crossed lol

Mrspeacock81 · 24/03/2013 13:37

Hi all. I normally lurk but have popped in to say hello before. I had a MC in dec and have been ttc since. This month I decided to give opk A try. I bought a batch of Internet Cheapies on amazon, but unfortunately they came with no instructions. I got a a darker indicator line yday which was expected around this time. I'm not sure though if the line indicates that I have ovulated or am due to ovulate? Should I be considering dtd over the next day or two or have I already missed the boat???

BootyBigFatFridayBanger · 24/03/2013 14:08

Hi all - new and old - hope all are well Smile

I've been away for a while - travelling for work and feeling a bit sorry for myself that I was the only BFN failure on the last Friday poas boo. Feeling very blue today again as just heard 2 more girls at work are preggers - that makes 4 in total in the last 4 months. I'm being left behind boooo. Sad

Am on day 11 today - taking my Clomid and have instructed my hubby to prepare himself for bonk days.

I've also eaten 4 of the large Lindt bunnies in the space of a week so, although I'm not pregnant, I might be starting to look like it Grin

Say to say hi really and wish everyone well xxx

BootyBigFatFridayBanger · 24/03/2013 14:14

Fod saw your message re your brother - poor guy, I do understand how you can be annoyed at him for doing all that crap stuff when he should be focusing on his health but I'm sure my brother would likely do something similar if he were in his shoes. Really from a 'f*ck life' / 'pissed off at the world' / 'sticking head in sand' and doing lots of extreme bizarre things kind of way.....

Obviously not the right thing to do though

ChristineDaae · 24/03/2013 15:17

Thanks JMF. Fod, just read your posts about your brother. How heartbreaking he is having to go through that. Maybe the way he is acting is just his way of dealing with it. Not that it makes it any easier to watch. Hmm
My sister in law is currently in labour... Waiting to find out if I have a new nephew or my very first niece!

LittleBairn · 24/03/2013 16:46

MrsP I believe it means your hormones are high and likely to be ovulating or very close to it. Ovulation can last 24-36 hours so there may still be time to DTD. If you DTD in the days leading up to it that can also increase your chances of a BFP.

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 24/03/2013 18:18

Hi Mrs Peacock - the LH surge which the OPK'S detect are supposed to come 24 hours (ish) before you ov so definitely DTd tonight and no harm in tomorrow too. In fact - drag your DP/DH off now and again later tonight just to be sure Grin

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 24/03/2013 18:22

Oops x-post with littlebairn - but you have 2 of us now ordering you off to DTD. I think that when ttc-ing - if in doubt it is always worth DTD, you always hear the odd random people who get pg during AF and while you "normally" ovulate close to the LH surge, it's not always the case

LittleBairn · 24/03/2013 21:22

I'm truly baffled by all the people that just get pregnant whenever they feel like it without have to consider ovulation and such stuff.
My family are very much in the get knocked up the second they consider category it WTF can't I?!
