So, my partner and I have been trying for 8 months now. Every month I seem to be getting more and more negative. Im 28 my partners 30, and we are ready for this! But its just not happening. Whats worse is I come from a very fertile family. My sister got pregnant within a month of trying. All my cousins get pregnant pretty much within two months of trying! One minute they say they want a baby, the next they are pregnant!

I'm going to try and get an appointment for the doctor. I know you are meant to wait at least a year but I feel like something is not right! It can't be!

Anyone in the same boat?!

Hi Angel,
I am in a similar situation, we have been trying for 7 months, and although I know that's not hugely long, I'm still starting to worry.

However I've probably not taken it as "seriously" as I could, in that we've been more not trying not to conceive, ie. not using contraception and having more sex, rather than all the other stuff you can do to help like work out when you're ovulating etc. Have you been doing that?
