When to pee on OPK stick?

I've got a clear blue OPK kit to try this month. I just read the instructions and it said not to pee for 4 hours before using it. I thought it would be easier to use it with FMU as I pee pretty regularly throughout the day and am not convinced I can go that long! But, I'm also sure that I've read you shouldn't use FMU as it doesn't pick up the ovulation hormone. Is this true? What do others do in terms of timing when to POAS? Thanks in advance xx

I understood that around 2-4pm was the best time of day but can't remember now where I got this from!

To be honest I had to give up with OPKs as I couldn't go that long in the middle of the day! I only ever got one line and that was when I did drink very little and hold it in so it does work but does not fit with my life to do that all the time!

The cb digi ones you can use at any time of the day including fmu, I'm sure they recommend that, the others or cheeper ones I've used say not too
