Can someone quickly remind me about low dose aspirin?

I'm having investigations for concurrent mcs and my gynae said to take low dose aspirin if I get pregnant before all my bloods are back. We've dtd, although probably not at the best time. I'm 8dpo and I've had a nagging burning sensation in my C-section scar since about 2dpo. Its too early for symptoms but its got me wondering.

Anyway, they messed up my bloods so I've got to have them done again and the appt is a while off. If I do get a bfp, when do I start taking the aspirin? Or do I start taking it now?

Opinions differ. I saw one specialist who said to take it all the time. My current fertility clinic puts you on it from egg collection (equivalent to ov). I've seen other people put on it from BFP. So I think you need to ask your dr.

I took it for recurrent miscarriage and started on it from bfp.

I took it as soon as pg with dd, and I'm not sure whether it was all down to the aspirin but she arrived safe and sound last August - something I never thought I'd see. One a day and stop at 36 weeks. Fingers crossed for you x

I had the same bloods and came back borderline for aps. I needed a second lot of bloods 4 weeks later (aspirin free) to confirm. So started taking the aspirin straight after second lot of bloods were taken and ttc. Unfortunately my second lot of bloods failed and I got pregnant so can't have the bloods done now. This means I have to take clexane throughout my pregnancy. Obviously I am over the moon I am pregnant and was v unlucky my bloods failed but it's gonna be a long 11 months of daily injections!!
If I were you I would wait for second lot of blood results before ttc or taking aspirin especially if the first come back borderline. Aps needs two lots to confirm.
You are supposed to take aspiring Pre conception as well

Just realised you said you already dtd. Maybe take aspirin then come off if get AF. But you have to be off aspirin for a month before they can do the bloods x
