Just interested in how long everyone has been trying? We've been trying since we got married in May last year...just started my 11th cycle.

Hi,

We finally got a BFP (with the help of IVF) on our 28th cycle. I think I'm miscarrying though, so it'll be 29+ for us. We are "unexplained" - all tests normal.

I have been following your posts euro don't know what to say. I am so sorry to hear that. SadSad

Thanks RedRobin. TTC should be such an exciting time, but long term ttc is just an unpleasant slog.

I WAS 4 years - one mc (all years after dd conceived with barely a thought: what a luxury I now realise). Eventually we had our ds and the awful irony is that my cycle is more regular and "normal" now than it ever has been and I imagine that were I to try now I feel that things might not be so difficult. I'll never know though as am over 40 & can't afford (emotionally or financially) to go for #4. I used to feel that every period was a failure. It's a really tough experience to go through and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, I hope you all have the ultimate happy outcome I did.

More than 2 years. So tiring emotionally...

This will be our 10th cycle of properly trying, but since I came off the pill it will be 19 cycles . . . exhaustion looms.

On 2 years, 8 months now. One mc around 2yrs after SO + IUI. Short-ish cycles so more than I care to remember. :( meh
