Here is my story... I am 40 and have two kids... We would like one more and it's now or never, I have been having irregular periods for a bit leafing me to think I am in periomenopause possibly. Well for the last month we have used nothing as we would like one more. I don't remember how I felt in the beginning with my other two... My daughter is 5 and I was breatfeeeibg Nd stuff still when I got pregnsnt with my son. We ttc in jan 19.. I then got my period which lately has been every three months and lasts almost a week and a half... So after that we ttc several times ... My problem being that I'm so ireegular how do I know when to take a pregnsncy test and it be accurate... I've taken several in the last week all negative... But if I go off the schedule from last month my period is two days late ... And I had Brown slotting yesterday and today with slight pressure and light cramps in my abdomen... And achy too . Any one else ever had this? What do you think? Maybe I tested York early I don't know.

Hi Babyhopeful.... i used to have regular periods.... very regular (i know because i used to use a persona monitor years ago)... then got married and started trying for a family. It was only then that i realised my cycles range between 26 - 34 days!! i was using a ovulation calculator but realised that we were missing the crutial times completely as it was imposible to predict with irregular cycles. (my DH and i both work funny shifts so just doing it every other day wasnt an option).
I purchased some LH strips off ebay (couple of quid) these worked brilliantly as they tell you when your LH surge is (which happens 2 days pre ovulation) so you know when you need to get on the job so to speak!! your period is due 15 days post ovulation. i took pregnancy test 6 days post ovulation and it was a feint pos!!!

fingers crossed that this is the month for you, if not i reccoment the LH strips (they also came with 5 free preg testing strips)
