Yesterday I started having cramps about 6pm....not so painful as periods cramps but only on my right side.
No other symptoms and otherwise well...
I went to epu today and because I am 6+2 they dod some blood tests and told me to come home. They thought that at 6+2 a heartbeat might not showed in a scan and I would stress even more...
The epu phoned tonight and told me to book a scan tomorrow and that the hcg result was 5163...
Should I be worried???
Can it be ectopic with that result??
Ps I am 41..

Hey notso so sorry your worrying, have no clue about what hcg should be about now, but couldn't read and not reply.

I've had some quite bad cramps esp if I get up quickly or if I've been stretching (getting dd out of car etc) I know one of the posters on Oct thread said on her early scan they could see the ovary she had ovulated from was still swollen and could still cause some pain, also my friend had really bad pain from a cyst (apparently quite normal and disappears when placenta takes over?) fingers crossed u get good answers tomorrow xx

I've had a quick google at some hcg charts on your behalf and to my untrained eye looks like that falls within the normal ranges, not sure why they have phoned and said to come in, could u ring someone, mw etc for some reassurance/explanation? x

Blondies....thanks for your reply....
Because of the levels at this point the epu reckoned that they will be able to see something at the scan....
But I am totally panicking:(
Especially as they did not wait for a second hcg test to check levels of how quickly it is elevating....
