Hi!
Been ttc for just over 12 months , went to the GP & had blood tested on days 2 & 21.
I phoned to drs this morning to see if my results were back & the receptionist said everything was fine apart from the testosterone serum test that was abnormal & I need to discuss it with the dr. I can't get an appointment today ( have to phone in the morning tomorrow to book one.....)
So I've been googling & trying not to stress...

Has anyone had any experience of this?

Does it mean I could have pcos?

Have a 3 year old dd already & got pregnant straight away with her so trying to get my head around all this Confused

It could be a sign of PCOS but if the day 21 test showed ovulation, it might not mean much.

I had severe pcos. Had testosterone levels that were WAY into male range....top end tbh

I had dd via ivf 9 yrs ago. Tried all kinds to control the testosterone but ultimately 7years after diagnosis I've had my ovaries removed. I've just had a blood test and my levels are now 1.7

Pm me if you want more details

Don't panic though there are lots they can do

Thanks for the replies

I'm trying not to panic & if it is pcos it's not the end of the world right?

No not the end of the world. And probably treatable

Ok, so just got back from the dr

My progesterone level was really low (24)

Dh has to do a sample & then we'll be refered to the fertility clinic

Feeling very bummed out - going to investigate acupuncture

Yes, but progesterone is really easy to replace xx
