Did it copiously at the right time and was hopeful because my skin hasn't turned into an oil slick as it usually does at this time of the month. Tested negative on Friday but not due until Wednesday. But started bleeding yesterday and turned into proper period today, so 3 or 4 days early. Usually very regular and no prob conceiviing before. Chemical pregnancy, stress or random event? I am much more pissed off than I thought I would be and currently drinking wine to make up for pointless abstemiousness

If I wasn't recovering from a cold and asthmatic chest infection stopping us dtd during my fertile week I would join you!

Twice during out 2+ years of ttc, I have come on unusually early. On one occasion before I started bleeding properly, I had pale pink spotting. On the the other, I had nausea from a couple of days past ov. I suspect it was failed implantation on both occasions and as my body rejected the embryo, it triggered my period. I have no proof of that, but I have been tracking my cycles for more than 2 years and always have a 12-13 day luteal phase, so something is going on to start bleeding after 9 days.

Take it as a sign that sperm met egg, but something wasn't quite right and you should get there soon.
