Thanks Stogan x Silly isn't it? I knew to expect it but I still got that awful sinking feeling when I saw it. Even after such a positive anomaly scan experience yesterday. I need to give myself a stern talking to and buck up!

Have you tried peppermint tea for sickness (or a ginger biscuit) ? Really helped me in first 12 weeks.

coney glad your anomaly scan went well. It must be very frightening having the bleeding even when the hospital scans show all is well, I do feel for you. I'm due on 23 December so just two days behind you.

baking good luck with the results of your testing, will be good to get some answers, have heard great things about Prof Quenby from the internet.

stogan great news re your pregnancy going well. I would have taken the pred too as a precaution! Sorry that you're feeling rough though but hopefully the symptoms will wear off when you get a bit further along.

I'm now 19 weeks along, I worry a lot. My hospital is scanning me every week which is really good of them. I even had to go for another private one this week which is two in one week as I was so worried! I can't feel any movement yet but will just have to be patient. I've got a very important scan on Friday - 20 week anomaly scan and checking the blood flow through the placenta. When I gave birth prematurely to Oscar it was because of problems with the blood flow through the placenta, so I will be really nervous and hope and pray all will be ok.

Believe me coney I've tried everything and the ginger biscuits are my best friend also hot water with lemon is helping my mega bloat lol.

Wow mollie 19 weeks got everything crossed for you and don't worry I was same with no 1 either being scanned or listening to hb at least once a week. If that's what helps you Hun then you bash on, only you will know what's best for you xx

Ah Mollie we are close together! Good luck for friday, I'm sure it will all be fine. I can't feel any movement yet either, but my placenta is anterior so may be cushioning kicks at the mo. He was certainly wriggling about on the scan yesterday, its amazing I can't feel him yet!

Stogan, I'm feeling better thanks. Had a shower and brushed up and have decided to go out and try and have some fun and stop worrying for a few hours... Hope your sickness subsides soon

STOGAN!!! OH my god ? our first Thread Baby and here you are again! Wow. Congratulations. Maybe symptoms are so horrible as you?re not on all the Pred this time as that is said to mark it isn?t it. Such great news though.

Cartoon ? sounds like you?re going from strength to strength. Hope the wait for the 20 week scan is not too long.

Choccy ? lots of exclamation marks for you too (!!!) so lovely to hear the heartbeat is going strong. Do you have a 12 week scan scheduled?

My news is (no! not that) I?ve finally managed to make some headway with the documentary and have a really good editor on board. We?re putting together a trailer to help us get some funding to edit the final version and hopefully shoud have it completed in a couple of months. Everyone I have shown it to so far has shed a few tears. So far it just concentrates on recurrent miscarriage as I haven?t found a person who has ?only' had one miscarriage to talk to yet. It?s not like you can just post on the mc boards and say hey ? come on camera and talk about this devastating experience you?ve just been through. But I am thinking recurrent miscarriage might be a good focus for it anyway.

I?m tryng to think of a title for it, if any of you are feeling creative please have a go and PM me.

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing?

I had my 20 week scan along with bloodflow check and everything was fine :-))) Was in tears in the first part as the head was measuring abnormally small, had to go for a walk as the baby was lying on his front, then after half an hour we went back in and right at the end the sonographer re-measured his head and it was fine! I was in bits thinking something was wrong, what a relief.

I've bought an Angelsounds doppler now, great for reassurance at home listening to the heartbeat.

coney hope you're feeling ok and the bleeding has stopped? I've got an anterior placenta too so that is probably why I can't feel anything either.

free would love to see your documentary when its finished.

Mollie, I'm so pleased for you. What a relief. Sounds like a stressful start, how awful for you. So glad everythings ok. We can stop worrying now eh? Ha ha ha

Bleeding has stopped thank god. I went to the ante natal assessment unit today to get a listen in which was really reassuring. As the midwife pressed the doppler to my stomach he did this almighty karate kick which I actually felt for the first time so that was amazing. I'm going to spend the evening pushing my tummy around, see if I can feel him again!

Free I think u are a superstar. There is so much I want to do to help people and so many people I want to help but its all still a very taboo subject here uuuppp north !! People say miscarriage like its a dirty word, much similar to cancer. I would love to bring the subject into the open more, yes it's hard but how will people know there is hope if its all behind closed doors? Hi ladies, thank you for all of your congrats. I had the worst possible news today less than a week after my 20 week scan and two days after finding a heartbeat with my Doppler. I went for a reassurance scan and they told me my baby has died. I don't know why and feel that all hope for the future has been lost as I was on lots of treatment. I'm not sure there's anywhere to go from here.

Oh god Mollie, I am so sorry Can't believe you have to go through this. I can't think of any words that come near how you must be feeling. I'm devastated for you. If there's anything I can do... here for you xxxxx
