it is great to hear success stories on here :)

sadly I have woken up without symptoms, my boobs hardly hurt, no sickness and tiredness Sad its never ending crap really, don't think I can wait until Wednesday for the bad news

mollieboo · 08/06/2013 13:38

abney huge congrats on the birth of baby Lewis. Very inspiring story to keep going.

buzzy sorry you're so worried, I hope its good news at your scan as it was on your last scan, you know your own body though. So hard waiting.

Waves to all.

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 08/06/2013 14:07

Wonderful news Abney with baby Lewis. Thanks for your reflections on Mr S, they sound pretty accurate to me.

Take it minute by minute, day by day buzzybee it's not over until the scan says it is. I'm thinking of you. X

buzzybee123 · 08/06/2013 14:13

accidental I will try and get a scan on Monday but not holding out much hope, unless I get some symptoms back, I just feel very normal.

mollieboo · 08/06/2013 15:27

Buzzy I feel really normal at 11 weeks, I think its hard to feel many symptoms for a lot of women on the pred and you're only in the early days, keep strong...

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 08/06/2013 16:06

Buzzy a friend of mine has just gotten pregnant through IVF, their 9th attempt, first time eggs were put in. She didn't get many symptoms, those she did get came and went. She is delighted but I have been terribly anxious for her, everything is absolutely fine, she's now 15 weeks! Sometimes pregnancies can be like that.
When I was expecting my son, I didn't even realise I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks (of course I didn't know how lucky I was to get to that stage).
I don't mean to minimise your gut instinct but there is a chance it's all OK. Xx

cartoontrickster · 08/06/2013 16:27

congrats rainbow and abney.
good news on your scan clabbage.
buzzy I hope you don't have to wait too much longer I find the waiting the hardest part.
I'm doing ok, have a scan on Monday morning should be 8+2. I think I'm getting daily heartburn, but I've never had it before so not sure if it is heartburn or something else.
waves to everyone.

buzzybee123 · 08/06/2013 16:48

thanks ladies, its just the sudden change from one extreme to another, I am now going made with do I feel sick or not Hmm could that be a bit of indigestion or is it in my head Hmm

cartoontrickster · 08/06/2013 17:44

I am a bit like that too buzzy. you can drive yourself mad with symptom spotting. but only a scan will give you a proper answer, which I hope you get soon. maybe go out for dinner or something to try and take your mind off it. I know you maybe don't feel like it though.

Clabbage · 08/06/2013 20:41

abney that's fantastic news. You have always inspired me as I know you have lost so many babies and just kept going. I'm glad that Mr S proved to be your inspiration.
chasin massive congrats to you too.

buzzy thinking of you. It's a hideous process isn't it?

Loads of luck for your scan cartoon xx

Abney · 09/06/2013 08:07

Buzzy I had no symptoms up until about 10/11 weeks pg with baby Lewis. I also started spotting at about 6 weeks. Each pg has been different. I have an e mail in my archive to my boss saying I was going to stay at home as I knew where this pg was heading and that I was absolutely gutted. 9 months later out he popped so as people have already said just hold out for the scan. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Cartoon good luck tomorrow. Again keeping everything crossed for you.

Thank you everyone else for your kind wishes.

freelancegirl · 09/06/2013 09:52

Is your next scheduled scan on Wednesday buzzy? We're all going to be there with you in spirit! Good luck for tomorrow too cartoon.

So pleased again to hear of more Pred babies!

BellyD · 09/06/2013 16:16

Congratulations Abney. Just an amazing story and I am so glad you have DS2 at last. Great to have Mr S feedback, will help anyone who is unfortunate enough to find themselves on this thread.

buzzybee123 · 09/06/2013 22:54

thanks ladies, yes I have my scan on Wednesday, symptoms very slight and spotting a bit Hmm

Arianrhod · 10/06/2013 09:27

abney Fantastic news, so very pleased to hear of the safe arrival of Lewis! Makes it all worthwhile now, right? :)

buzzy Rooting for you, ignore the symptoms/lack of them, you know they can mean absolutely nothing. Ditto the spotting, on FF they mention it's quite common for IVF ladies to get bleeding and/or spotting. Doesn't help the mentalling at all, I know, but hang in there and lots of luck for Wednesday!

cartoon Lots of luck for your scan today - and if you're on pred, that can cause heartburn; Louise says to take omeprazole in the morning to counterract that.

/waves to everyone

buzzybee123 · 10/06/2013 13:05

ari what is happening with you my lovely,

I didn't know about the pred and indigestion, i've just been using gaviscon but might ask when I see him next

cartoontrickster · 10/06/2013 14:41

thank you all for the good wishes. scan was perfect. 8+2 like it should be. little heart fluttering away.
its strange that I'm getting heart burn as I am on the omeparozole too. should be weaning off the pred soon so hopefully that will help.

mollieboo · 11/06/2013 18:07

Fab scan news cartoon.

freelancegirl · 11/06/2013 19:57

That's great news Cartoon! You must be very relieved.

Buzzy good luck for tomorrow. We will be thinking of you.

Clabbage · 11/06/2013 22:08

Really pleased for you cartoon. Great news.

Just popping in to wish buzzy loads of luck for tomorrow.

Tumtimes1 · 12/06/2013 10:26

GReat news Cartoon and Buzzy will be thinking of you today.

Update with me is I think I have either got pregnancy hormone inside me, or I have just had a chemical. Last week I got several faint positives on an FR but the line never got darker. In the end my period came and I am coming to the end of that now. I plan to test on an FR tomorrow but am so scared that there will be a faint line!

Is it likely to be pregnancy hormone as I have had one period in between trying again? xxx

freelancegirl · 12/06/2013 16:09

Buzzy hope you're ok.

Tumtimes that sounds weird, a chemical maybe or dodgy tests?

Tumtimes1 · 12/06/2013 16:36

There were many tests all first response and all with a line :-( it has baffled me and trying not to worry. I can't face a second ERPC if there are retained "products". We shall see.... xx

buzzybee123 · 12/06/2013 18:24

Hey ladies the scan shows a baby with a heartbeat, I'm still cautious as its early days

tums so sorry

cartoontrickster · 12/06/2013 18:24

just came to check for news from buzzy
