ovulation tesst any good

iv been trying for a baby for around a year and had no luck, i just wanted to know if ovulation tests are any good and which is the best to get.

I've tried using the Internet cheapies and struggled to interpret them so this month I bit the bullet and spent £20 on 20 clearblue sticks and I think it's worth it. You get a little smiley face when it's positive, and a blank circle when you're not. I'll be carrying on with these if this month doesn't work (we've been ttc for 2 years). I also tried to clearblue fertility monitor but found that a bit too much.
