Anyone know a good acupuncturist in the West Mids?

My consultant half-heartedly suggested it a while back and I'd initially dismissed it as being a bit 'desperate'. Anyway, 20 months on, I am 'desperate' and willing to give anything a go lol!

Any advice? xxx

I don't know where you are exactly as west mids is quite big bit I know of one in bromsgrove if that's any help?

Not used either for conception directly directly but Natalie Saunders in the jewellery quarter of Birmingham helped me recover from my miscarriages and supported the first 7 weeks of my current pregnancy. Then moved for
cost reasons to Janet at Bearwood accupuncture clinic and she's lovely too.

I've heard of a highly recommended one in Leamington Spa via several friends. I suspect if you google you would find her.

Morebounce - Bearwood isn't far from me. Roughly how much money do they tend to charge? Do you think its worth me looking into it? x

I pay £39 a session which I think is about average? I don't know whether it works or not but I believe in it. Certainly I always have to sleep got hours afterwards! Although not sure why... It's very relaxing if nothing else.

and did you feel any more relaxed than if you just had a massage?

I feel so relaxed I can't keep my eyes open! Literally like I've had sleeping tablets.
It involves the placement of several needles (ear, stomach, feet, head and hands in my case) and then she leaves me for about half an hour or so. The needles don't usually hurt, it's like a firm tap when they go in and you can't feel them once they are in. My acupuncturist also uses heated cups which are supposed to help the circulation. I often get red lines between the needles which apparently means I'm open to the treatment. I know it all sounds a bit woo and I have to say generally I'm not woo at all but I do believe in accupuncture. Not so much other alternative therapies.
I did have accupuncture when I conceived my first dc and we got pregnant first cycle...this time round not so lucky. However I do think I've got damage from the fist pregnancy which has affected my fertility and I'm not surf accupuncture can do much for scarred Fallopian tubes. I'm still persisting at the moment though because as I said it's relaxing and pleasant at worst and might help me conceive at best.
