Asda 2 for 3.50 pregnancy tests?

The cheapest in the shop, should have stuck to my 2nd cheapest rule
I tested yesterday, period is 2 days late. It came up negative but my period is NEVER late so am wondering. My periods have been haywire since my last miscarriage but always come early rather than late.
Anyone any experience of these tests? I did test in the evening so maybe I should wait a few days and do a morning test.

I used one of my asda ones on a wed evening. BFN. Used the second one two days later on the Friday morning. BFP. Did double check it with a clear blue but only because I didn't believe the very apparent line on the asda test!

Hmmm, now I'm getting my hopes up?
My the way, I can see that BFN and BFP mean negative and positive but what do the initials mean? Sorry, not been here for long!

Did another test this morning and still negative, then my period came! Well, there's always next month!
