Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place I'm new to all this :/
I have been on the minera coil for just over a year with no problems couple of weeks ago I had my monthly cycle which is never heavy & doesn't last long so all seemed normal. However Thursday night I had really bad stomach pains which where gone by Friday morning & I felt completely fine then fri evening I went to the toilet & had some brown like spotting which I've never had now nothing again?!? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but this has never happened before just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything like this?!?! Thanks in advance x

I had a coil (non hormonal, just a copper coil) and would occasionally get brown spotting so I went to see my GP.

She advised to be on the safe side ensure my sexual health checks were up-to-date although there was no need as I had them done pre-coil.

I also had a smear which was also clear.

I later had my coil out because I swear as time went on my periods became increasingly painful.

I had that a coil had dislodged within me - which was the pain I had felt...can you still feel strings or are they a different length to previously..it may be worthwhile getting checked that it is still in situ and there are not any issues... Its unlikely to be PG related byt could be related to moving or a cyst or the like...
Mine had moved and was completely side ways ( I have a weird womb anyways) but i had then had weird discharge ( it was sometime between pain and seeing dr - i think about 1 month) which was due to it irritating the womb or something *not a dr.
my strings had dissappeared and whole thing had got wrapped up in itself and eventually had to have it out and replaced on GA....
