did the deed last night we are ttc

but dh wasnt that high up inside me Blush

It doesn't matter all that much if your DH isnt that far inside you. The sperm are propelled out of the penis during ejaculation, then they have to 'swim' the rest of the way. Sperm have evolved to travel toward the appropriate place, so don't worry unduly.

That said, you can help the sperm on their journey by ensuring the head of the penis is as close to the cervix as possible. Good positions for this are missionary, spoons and if he is behind you whilst you are on all fours or propped up. Positions where you are on top are generally less optimal when TTC.

After sex, you might want to just lie still for 20 mins or so, with your pelvis tilted upwards (on a pillow or something). Avoid urinating straight after, too.
