Light bleeding?

Hi guys, this is our first month ttc using nothing other than Preseed for assistance with dryness. I posted last night with my symptoms, which were possibly related to ovulation. However about half an hour ago I discovered some light red blood (very different to what my normal period bleeding looks like) on the toilet paper after going for a wee. My last period began on Jan 23 and as I said in my other thread, I have no idea when or if I ovulated. If we had this bleeding to my other symptoms, what do you think is happening? I still have two weeks before my period is due. The other symptoms are:

  • Extremely painful and sensitive breasts and nipples, including shooting pains/spasms.
  • Sudden appearance of dark blue veins across areola & nipples. I've not seen these before.
  • Milky-white/creamy discharge.
  • Sharp coccyx pain, especially when laying/sitting (ie. putting pressure on it).
  • Aching pain in right hip.
  • Dull lower tummy ache.
  • Sharp pains around navel area.
  • Overwhelming tiredness/fatigue, not helped by sleeping.
  • Really hungry.

It's too early for implantation bleeding, isn't it? So could the bleeding be related to ovulation? Is it something to worry about? I'm going to be Googling later tonight but I'd love to hear from people who have experienced something similar.

Thank you!

All the symptoms you list are those you get when pregnant but it is very unlikely that you would be experiencing these already. The thing won't implant until a week after conception and by the time of your first missed period you might expect some of these symptoms- especially breast changes (in my experience). I wouldn't worry about the bleeding. The tiredness tends to build up in the first few weeks. You wouldn't have enough HCG in your system yet to feel totally wiped.

Good luck. Time will tell if you're pregnant!

Thanks, squidwoman! I suppose it's possible I ovulated early but I don't want to start thinking those kind of things because I'll drive myself crazy with all the am I/aren't I...

It's just a little scary because I have never in my life had any of this and I've been sexually active for 15 years! It's all so new, and weirdly coincidental for our first month ttc. The aches and pains and whatnot I could partly put down to my imagination as we're so desperate to conceive, but you can't imagine bleeding lol! We have another child but I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was nearly four months gone with him, so I can't even compare.
