DS2 is 4 months, DH & I have only DTD once or twice since his arrival & used condoms. However, I am now 4 days late & feeling incredibly nauseous. POAS x2, both negative (Asda's own brand test).

When pg with DS2 I was a week late with 6 BFNs before I got a BFP & I just can't shake this feeling.

I think another baby at this point would be a disaster but there is no way I could abort unless there was a significant medical problem.

Any thoughts to keep me sane right now? Apologies if anyone reads this and has been TTC for some time, I don't mean to cause offence by saying another baby would be a disaster, but it certainly wouldn't be easy.

I have been TTC for 2 years so I'm the camp of people you were afraid of offending - but am not in the least bit offended, don't worry! I know everyone's circumstances are different and all kinds of advice/support is needed on the conception board.

I think it's unlikely you are pregnant if you have only had sex a couple of times and always with contraception - but not impossible. Given your history with POAS the ASDA sticks aren't really a reliable indicator.

Probably the only thing you could do is get a blood test from your GP which might be more sensitive/accurate, otherwise you will have to wait a few more days and see if your period arrives, or pee on more sticks.

Either way I am sorry you are so nauseous, it's a horrible feeling. Many factors can cause nausea though so fingers crossed you'll get the outcome you want.

If you are still breastfeeding, that would easily account for your periods being a bit messed up. There are dozens of reasons why you could be feeling a bit unwell, reasons more likely than being pregnant if you've only had sex twice and used condoms. Give it another week, pee on another stick, then go speak to your GP if its still negative and you still feel unwell.
