Put on your vest/shades and grab your weapons, it's Action Hero Time.

The BESH are experts in all matters action, but specialise in taking out the local droids and sometimes Druids Wink

Cover me, I'm going in!

Oh Bugsy 'Tis total shitbags cuntswollop pissdicks.

maamalady · 17/02/2013 00:17

I need your crush of shame, but provisionally: you're in.

Note: your crush is almost certainly less embarrassing than mine, do not be afeared to post it.

Northey · 17/02/2013 08:14

Ach, you sound fine. Hit the bullseye twenty times from behind this crumbling pillar to the strains of an implausibly high tempo sound track and you're in.

Stick news, frank?

I am drinking decaf coffee (ho bloody hum) and waiting for the embryologist to call and tell me they are all dead in the petri dish.

I hope bugsy is having a balancing sort of weekend.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 17/02/2013 08:38

No stick news Norf, I'm refusing to pee on anything till Wednesday and droid is officially late. Whilst I'm not cramping yet (usually get a few days of cramps pre-droid) my temp is still on a downward slide, albeit a slow one. Updated chart here

Good luck with the Barry-Doctor Grin

Northey · 17/02/2013 08:44

All seven still alive! Five graded as good, and two developing a little more slowly but still going. Re-insertion on Tuesday.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 17/02/2013 08:47

Eggs of Steel!! Grin Well done Norf, that's very impressive.

OP posts:
HavingALittleFaithBaby · 17/02/2013 09:06

Eggscellent news Norf! Grin All systems go for Tuesday then?! I've just had a cream egg to celebrate. Will they freeze those that aren't inserted?

Frank it's still well above the cover line....everything to play for.

I CBA to go to work today. Or tomorrow. Or ever really Hmm

EuroShagmore · 17/02/2013 09:14

Hurrah norf! As you know we had ET on day 2. I said to KFZK it was just like a smear/IUI so I didn't need him there. The night before I had a complete wobble (we just got the one phone call to say it had fertilised the day after EC and the day before ET) and I was convinced it would have perished before we got there, so I made him come and hold my hand. I don't think the worrying ever stops!

frank that chart still looks promising.

How much longer have you got left at work, faif?

Newbie, you'll do. Get your grubby vest on and pick a weapon.

Northey · 17/02/2013 09:29

If there are any spares of sufficient quality, faif. I like your creme egg celebration style! I've been looking for an excuse to have one six pack.

frank, didn't dor's chart dip like that too? See what it's like tomorrow. And of course it's the droid absence wot really counts.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 17/02/2013 09:29

I am imagining that the physical side of ET is minimal but the psychological is huge and needs an OH there to hand hold.

I finish 4 weeks on Friday :) hooray!

Oh yes, newbie who I might struggle not to call Mavis Aside from the lack of crush which must* be resolved, you sound good to me! I know Kung-fu Hmm

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/02/2013 09:32

Morning hags!

Welcome newbie, as long as you don't admit to fancying Jeremy Clarkson, you're in Wink. Nice drinking on Sat afternoon.

Hurrah for the septuplets still going strong norf. All very exciting.

I had a thoroughly depressing night at the in-laws which I can't divulge too much about it, following by a 5am arrival of droid, so I feel like SHIT. Will do another sneaky IUI cycle before we're off to far away places for our hols :)

Fingers crossed frank. And just don't pee on the wrong sort of sticks Tuesday, learned my lesson the hard way Blush.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/02/2013 09:33

Not long now faif crazy to think... I've really gone past imagining it would be me, but sometimes

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 17/02/2013 09:36

Sorry you had a crappy night.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/02/2013 09:42

The night was maybe more saddening than depressing, the sil and bil are having a lot of problems, and we talked about it with sil. It is difficult because we can't help. Their troubles make it easier to forgive the instadiff and the many faux-pas of the past. And Dnephew is developing into a proper darling, good smiles, interactive and nice and warm.

EuroShagmore · 17/02/2013 10:40

Aw, driz sorry about the arrival of droid, and the sad night.

4 weeks faif! Awesome.

We have some friends with a 4 month old coming over shortly. I'm just waiting to get a chocolate cake out of the oven then KFZK will take over and cook a huge joint of beef. :)

Northey · 17/02/2013 10:44

drizz, I'm sorry :( Maybe this IUI will be the one.

euro, I am just this very minute leafing through recipe books for a nice chocolate cake recipe myself!

EuroShagmore · 17/02/2013 10:53

norf this is about the only decent flour-free recipe I had. After the ?chem preg? in November when I had given up wheat to see if that helped with my energy levels, I decided to give up wheat for this IVF cycle, not expecting the cycle to do anything other than maybe help diagnositically. Now of course, I'm worried to eat wheat in case there is an issue. Probably silly, but it's a bit of a coincidence: no wheat for a month = CP, no wheat for first IVF cycle = TFP*.

But now it means I have 8 months ahead without toast, if everything works out, probably for no good reason but "just in case".

*TFP = tiny faint positive. Much more accurate than BFP in my experience!

navis176 · 17/02/2013 11:04

faif - feel free to call me Mavis Grin And I promise to work on developing an inappropriate crush...will keep you updated on progress.... (driz - don't worry, definitely not Jeremy Clarkson, ugh)

I don't know you all well enough yet really - but frank the chart sounds promising. And yay norf, that sounds fantastic!

driz - sorry to hear about the depressing night and even more depressing droid

mmm choc cake...fortunately MOF hates it, so when I bake I get to eat the whole thing Smile

Northey · 17/02/2013 11:09

You could probably allow yourself the odd slice in the final month or two, euro.

Northey · 17/02/2013 11:11

Never mind, mavis, it's just as valid to kill the bad guys by eating a cake and sitting on them, I'm sure.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/02/2013 11:27

Grin at eating cake and sitting on bad guys as our superhero approach. You're definitely in mavis.

The ILs I speak of are the obese, normally evil ones, so I brought them some (but not all, still plenty in the tin) millionaire's shortbread. She can give anyone a run for their money on the sitting on and killing all evils.

Apart from a noticably painful droid I am okay, if complentative about and pleased with the relationship SB and I have. On other news I am about to make sweet potatoe soup. Are you allowed some of that euro? 8 months without toast, just in case, it will be worth it, but it might not be easy

EuroShagmore · 17/02/2013 11:47

Mmmm, soup. We eat a lot of soup. I'm sure the left over bits from today's roast will end up in soup tomorrow. I do a nice roasted tomato soup, and KFZK does an amazing chorizo and bean soup which at the moment just adds to my whoopee cushion state.

Mavis you can't have JC. He's my imaginary uncle (I don't have a crush on him but just want to be able to visit him on Sundays and hear him be rude about everyone before taking me for a spin in an awesome car). Mine.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 17/02/2013 12:03

I make a mean sweet potato and sweetcorn soup which is in my PCOS book. Low GI y'see.

My chicken soup is pretty darn amazing too, if I do say so myself. Lots of garlic and ginger so it's a great winter warmer.

EuroShagmore · 17/02/2013 12:40

We are never knowingly undergarlicked in this household. KFZK seems to be a bit addicted to the stuff and I love it too.

After almost 5 years of living here, we discovered an amazing butcher a short drive away, in Dulwich. It's a revelation after years of supermarket meat.
