Shall I do a test....the waiting is driving me mad!!!!

I am not entirely sure when I ovulated. I used the clear blue OPKs and got a smiley face on the 25th Jan so I'm guessing it was around that time. AF is due on Thursday, is it too early to test now? I keep imagining symptoms and its driving me mad!!!!

So assuming you ovulated on the 26th you would be 9DPO today. While some people do get a BFP that early it's unusual. Sensible advice would be to wait until Wed or Thu if you could. (Internally I am shouting TEST TEST TEST!) Depends on how many tests you have and if you're prepared to waste some over the next few days. Personally I can always justify POAS provided its a cheapie. Keep us posted [excited]!

Sorry don't mean to be a party pooper but getting a faint BFP early only to then get AF on time due to a chemical pregnancy is heartbreaking.

Yes, early testing is a bad idea. I tested two days before I expected AF (I was about 14dpo) and I felt like I couldn't breathe for two days waiting to see if AF arrived as normal/late with it resulting in a chemical pregnancy. It's difficult, but restraint and patience are your friend in the circumstances. Sit on those hands until AF is due!

I am 29 weeks, rotund, shattered, can't wait to finish work (7 weeks to go!) but happy :) looking forward to holding our little girl!

I'm 29 weeks, rather rotund, shattered and can't wait to finish work and finally cuddle our baby - a girl, it seems! But I'm happy. Not having the worst of pregnancies so far! :)

Yes, it's very strange to be this pregnant iykwim! I never really imagined much past getting a BFP! Glad you're well :)
