Somebody help me - I'm confused!

Last month I had a chemical pregnancy so my period has been thrown out its normal cycle. I've been desperately trying to work out if/when I'm fertile. I thought this would be the weekend - I'm just used the start of my last period as start of my cycle. I don't know if the chemical pregnancy will affect this cycle?

Anyway, my CM seemed to fit the stretchy description yesterday but then it's disappeared. I thought I should have it for a few days. Plus I've been using ovulation sticks and according to them no ovulation.

I'm becoming obsessed with when I'm due to speculate and if I've already missed the window! Why can't it be obvious!

any words of wisdom appreciated

I'm certainly no expert but I have noticed that I often get maybe one day of a little egg white cervical mucus before I'm really fertile and then about a week later I get the proper few days of it plus ovulation.

I use the period tracker app which helps adjust your cycle predictions based on the previous month.

Hey, sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy, I wonder if I had one last month too. In terms of EWCM I find that mine isn't necessarily the same each day and can have a day or so gap. I think that's pretty normal tbh. Try and relax, if you've had some EWCM then its well worth DTD EOD for a week or longer just to make sure there's some sperm waiting for the egg when you ovulate. To me, it sounds like you're due to ovulate in the next couple of days. Best of luck TTC! Smile

Thank you for your replies. I have been DTD over past couple of nights- woke poor DH up at 3am last night - think he' d have preferred to sleep!

it should be far more straightforward. I' m obsessing about it Confused
