My last period was 23rd of Dec I'm normally always spot on with my period so I took a boots home test Friday night and it came back negative then I took another one yesterday. We've been trying for a baby since he got back from Afghanistan in November, with my boyfriend being away a lot with the army its extra hard with time to try for a baby so we want this to be popositive sooo bad. I hardly ever get headaches but for nearly 2weeks on in off I had mild 1s and for the past week I've had mild cramp and a couple of times I've thought I'm coming on then when I feel its been milky/clear discharge, I was restless for a couple of nights this week at bed time, I don't know if its just wishful thinking but could I be pregnant? If I am then what's the best tests to use?? Its so gutting getting a negative result I'm scared to take another one. Thanks

im in the same boat although not ttc concieve on the pill last period was 21st of dec and have same symptoms, feeel very sick to certain smells, so sleepy but also having period like pains!strange!hope you get a positive resukt :)

I think the tests are all very similar to be honest- I am also in the same boat!

I POAS about 10 minutes ago, I was due on today. The test was negative (as were the 5 previous!)

How about taking yourself to the GP and having a test done there? Perhaps they could do a blood test which is more sensitive?

I found nothing was coming up on my tests but I tried a clear blue digital and within a minute it had come up positive. I then tried another regular home one and there was still nothing. I know they're more expensive but amazon have them for about £8 for two.

I had the same thing before my BFP; cramping and feeling like I was coming on but only discharge. i have found CM is more bountiful once I'm pregnant, being more similar to mid-cycle.

Good luck

Well still had the cramping on in off today and I just woke up from falling asleep on the sofa when I went to the loo and wiped there was this pinkish stain about the size of a 50p peace. I wiped again thinking I've come on but there was very little there.. I dunno, I'm confused I want to be pregnant so bad but I don't think I'm that lucky.. :/

Don't put pressure on yourself with symptom spotting- allow yourself a day where you don't think about any of those things, you will soon know one way or the other!

I will be trying HaveI's suggestion in the morning (using a Clearblue test).

Hi! First time post.
Hubby and I TTC for the first time, I've been off Cerazette (BOOO HISS) since 1st Dec so hormones probs still on the fritz, I know - but long story short, period due last Sat, never showed up. Tested on Mon, negative (BOOO HISS again). So I kind of gave up testing, still got one in packet (they're ClearBlue Digital) and period STILL NOT SHOWED UP. Too scared to test again!
Ash1988 don't be disheartened. I assume from the 1988 bit of your username that you we're born in 88 - me too! We're young and our odds of conceiving are pretty good. Just be patient sweetie Smile (says me running around like a blue-arsed fly and texting my mum every 4hrs saying "NO PERIOD" haha) Grin !
Lots of hugs to all who are down because of neg tests. Hubby cries every time.xxx
