Morning Brookers (just!) :)
Yay to barlet's news, will check up properly shortly now that I am on my laptop.
I got home about 10pm last night and managed a reasonable night's sleep apart from a cough I have developed from the tube they put in my throat. V sore today, just awaiting a coffee a la MrG (I could get used to this!).
Consultant spoke with me after the op but I was still really groggy so need to check with MrG that I remember everything he said. He found the cause of why my last op was so bad - it seems they had caught one of my ovaries up with the internal stitches last time which is why I was in so much pain. This meant it had fused to the scar tissue. It sounds like he had a bit of a job sorting that out, but he showed me before and after photos and it now looks like it is in its proper place. Adhesions are now all gone, endometrioma has been removed (more photos!), D&C done and a polyp inside my womble has been removed (didn't even know it was there but apparently my periods might be lighter and less painful now). I have two 'small' fibroids, which is an improvement on a small fibroid and 'quite a large one' so perhaps the vit D3 is doing its thing. They aren't intruding inside my womble so won't cause any issues with pregnancy. They also pushed dye through my tubes, which I wasn't expecting, so now I'm in with the best possible natural chance I could have. I will hear from the clinic in a couple of months about when I can start IVF but you never know, that ironic BFP could be just around the corner (we can even start trying this month if I feel up to it).
I was warned I'd have a few days of period-like bleeding following the D&C, but apart from it little bit yesteday evening it seems to have dried up - yay! They truly did surgically remove AF. I only wish I could watch her burn in the incinerator 
Sweetie and beedle soft kitty is from a programme called The Big Bang Theory, which MrG and I are both big fans of. MrG did in fact sing it to me after I came back to my room from the recovery area. He forgot the words half way through, so I made him sing it again from the top Maybe I'll send him over to you to practise :)
keep brooking that AF doesn't turn up at all, let alone just stays away til Sunday.
solars am I right in remembering you starting doing stuff after just a couple of days? You are amazing!!! I was on top of the world last night but that must have been the morphine. I am very sore today, though mobile at least.
Sick note is for two weeks so will email dink boss a bit later. MrG can drop it off to him when he goes back to work tomorrow. MrG is off today, and my mum is coming late afternoon so I'll have someone here to run around after me until after the weekend.
Thank you for all your brooking and messages, yesterday was v stressful particularly with all the waiting and MrG's hypo.
